Unless you live in Key West, you will only find the Hogfish Bar and Grill on a tip. It is off the beaten track and can be a little tricky to find, but it is well worth the search. The Hog Fish is the way the Lower Keys used to be. Right on the waterfront, It is a place to savor that simple pleasure of peeling and eating freshly caught Key West Pink Shrimp, while watching shrimp boats dock. Artists and craft workers have their studios along the docks with a tranquil, out of time presence as if nothing has changed in 50 years....On Saturdays celebrity -musician-chefs, Barry Cuda and Mick "The Sauce Boss" plays New Orleans style music while cooking up a cajun stew. There is something so fun about sharing a communal meal while drinking beer and watching two musicians pound out earl King. The Hog Fish sandwich is the best you will find in Key West. It is after all, where people who catch fish, eat fish... We love it and will return year after year.
