When planning our trip to the Keys, (a process that took a couple of years) we wanted to make sure we got our moneys worth and didn’t waste any of our precious time while there. We did a lot of research and when we came across all the great reviews of “Danger” I was actually skeptical. I wondered if some of these “great” and “fantastics” had been either planted or solicited, well I can tell you that they are true. My biggest regret is that my unfounded concerns impelled me to only book the half day instead of the full day. They are what they advertise, and after being with these people for a few hours I cannot believe that anyone could go away dissatisfied. The cruise out to the reef itself was very relaxing and informative. The Captain was entertaining and humorous but is was easy to see that he was also very experienced and competent. The crew was wonderfully entertaining and helpful. They seemed genuinely concerned about our comfort and contentment. The whole experience seamed much more intimate having only 18 onboard. The snorkeling experience was also great as they took us to a lesser known area where we were the only ones in the water. The crew joined us both in the water and when we were kayaking. They helped point out many unique and exotic creatures that we would never have discovered on our own. The trip back was as enjoyable as the rest of the voyage with a generous selection of drinks and snacks. Some one commented that this was like going out for an afternoon with your friends or family and I definitely agree. If you are planning a trip to Key West make sure you put this on the very top of you “must do” list.

THEY LOST MY RESERVATION !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Totally incompetent organization. The "Wind and Wine" cruise was overbooked as well. NOT so quaint and personal. Beware of Danger. There are plenty of other less expensive sunset cruises to choose from. Try the Jolly Rover...beautiful ship, great crew and an excellent cruise.

This trip is lad back and tons of fun.Everything about it from the get go is great.If you want a up close and personal eco trip,danger charters is what you are looking for.We saw lots of different fish and a morey ell while snorkeling.then we continued sailing to our kayak spot and paddled up around the mangrove island (man key) and saw some sting rays,conchs,and a couple of sharks.The crew shared there knowledge with us of the area and the history of it all through the day.They also enjoyed playing around and having just as good of time if not more than we were.If you are in key west and want to get out on the water and have a blast give these guys a shot.I promise you will love it.

Saturday morning was a little rough waking, but knowing we were going on a half day Sailing Excursion that included Snorkeling and Kayaking made us get right up, on the bikes, and off to the docks to set sail with Danger Charters. A great happy crew awaited us, Don, Christie and Keith, along with about 8 other friendly strangers, it was nice to go out with such a small group. As we helped to hoist the sails, and set out on this amazingly beautiful morning, temps were about 75, and blue blue skies, Don was slicing up fresh fruit for all. On the way out to the Coral Reefs, Keith showed us a map of the Florida Keys, and explained in detail the History of the keys, fishing, treasure, etc. Snorkeling in the Crystal Clear Blue warm waters was amazing, like being in an aquarium, all colors and types of fish, we saw Sea Turtles swimming around, very rare, and live lobsters. I never seen so many types of species and colors of fish...Don and Christie were able to point lots of stuff to the group. We then opened up the wine and beers, Chips with Fresh Hummus and Salsa on our way to the Mangrove Islands to go Kayaking...another incredible experience, as Don guided us around the Mangrove Islands, to descibe all the types of birds, and animals on the islands we saw, we even ran into Sting Ray's and Nurse Sharks along the way, and just kayaking out in the Carribean is an amazing scene, and also might add a great looing crew as well!~~
