Misha is such a gem and is so knowlegeable! When you first enter the Gardens, the staff greet you and make you feel at home.
We came here twice actually. Once to check out the location and the 2nd time to have our wedding at the beginning of May.
There are various walking tours that you can take yourself which are well detailed by brochure and pamphlet. The different type of flora and fauna are quite intriguing. The walking tours will lead you through Butterfly gardens, elevated walking paths and forest like walk ways. We enjoyed it very much.
Our Wedding was in the butterfly garden which was amazing! The garden/natural setting was very romantic.
The Reception was held infront of the large water feature which is a water wall that has orchids growing on it. On the top of the water wall is bamboo and other various fauna. There is a pond at the bottom which is the home to small fish and turtles.
This Botanical garden is well shaded however for those of you susceptible to bites, come prepared. Some of us got bitten and some did not.
In addition, the Botanical Gardens use to be even more lush however due to past hurricane damage, they are building things up again.
