My husband and I really enjoyed La Pensione Inn during our recent visit to Key West. We were in room #1 and it was clean, roomy, and quiet. The staff was wonderful! Very helpful and full of information! We will definately stay there again!

Our experience at the La Pensione was ok. We were pleased with the staff and their helpfulness (for the most part) They did not go out of their way for us, but they were decent. We were pleased with the location (being on Truman) and the pool was nice. We stayed in room #4 and we thought the room was large with tall ceilings and the ac worked great (although it is a wall unit). We were disappointed that the room did not have a television and that the plumbing was very fragile. We did not have a chance to have breakfast, but it appeared that they were serving waffles. We would probably not stay their again. There are other bed and breakfasts that offer more, such as happy hour, hot breakfasts with good hours and rooms with TVs and refrigerators.

We have stayed here before and have always had a wonderful time. We love the location and have always found it to be a peaceful and quiet B&B. It is an old Victorian House with 9 rooms They serve breakfast with homemade waffles that were sooo good! The staff that makes you feel like old friends and Freda and the rest of the staff are full on Key West knowledge and can set you up with daytrips and make reservations to great restaurants. I can't wait to stay here again!

Room # 9 is a nightmare, most pricey and most requested. Major sound 24/7, blinds that do not block any light, stained box spring cover. Breakfast was frozed waffles. Coffee & tea was unavailable during the day. Cold staff that were not helpful or gracious. Furniture different than what is on their website. Not enough parking in their lot for the 9 rooms. Shared balcony with 2 other rooms.
