I am a Hyatt Vacation Club owner and have stayed at all Hyatt timeshares in Key West as well as the ones in Bonita Springs and Breckenridge. While still beautiful, conveniently located and has a wonderful staff, the original Sunset Hyatt timeshare resort is in need of a room renovation to bring it up to par with the newer locations.

Also as a Hyatt owner, I was charged $20.00 for parking, which I didn't think was appropriate considering the amount of annual fees being paid. I believe owners should be entitled to free parking at this location as is the policy at other Hyatt locations.

The Hyatt Sunset Harbor was super.
My friend and I went for my Birthday and the location and the accomodations could not have been better.
The outdoor pool was fabulous and I liked the fact that there were no children screaming , nor running around the pool.
Actually, there were no children there at all.
It overlooked the port where the cruise ships come in and again, the location was perfect, walking distance to all the great Restaurants, shops etc.
The room had a little refrigerator, coffee machine and microwave and utensils, a toaster and the bathroom was very big and I can't say enough POSITIVE about this resort.
I will be back.

We are repeat Customers at the Hyatt Sunset and, as usual, the accommodations were awesome. It's a short walk to Duval Street and no car is necessary. Everyone at the Hyatt was very nice and friendly.

I was excited to stay here and would absolutely go back. It's a great location, right on the water, but a block off the beaten path so you can get away from the craziness of duval street if you want. It is right next to the location where everyone watches the sunset and where cruise ships dock so you get a great view.
The rooms are clean. Great bathroom, small little kitchen section and A/C. The pool and jacuzzi are the best part. Very pretty and relaxing. You can see the ocean from the pool.
Staff was excellent and the concierge had great suggestions. He made arrangements for us if we needed them and got us a discount for most of our activities. You can also use the facilities at the other hyatt hotel in key west.
Very affordable. Would recommend this place definitely.
