my wife and i stayed here for 5 nights beginning the 19th of february...booked way in advance..(october)...got a very good rate for the time of year that we stayed...170/night for first 3 nights, 190/night for last 2...very spacious and clean room w/2 double beds, lots of storage for clothes, separate area w/sink, fridge, coffee maker, and microwave.. additional ensuite bathroom, w/ the usual facilities...advertised as being recently remodeled, and appeared as though it was...very pleasant..clean room..we had a first floor room, so was easy to use...adequate parking, but at a premium...no charge to park your car, but not quite enough spaces for every room, still, had no problem..very nice heated pool, some shade, plenty of chairs, w/ covered area to get out of the sun if need be.. just one block from duval, and less than a block to the trolley stop..also on bus line if thats your thing..would stay again

This was our second time here, and am glad that nothing has changed! Rooms are large and clean, staff is extremely friendly. Pool is nice, we just park here and walk everywhere - being one block off Duval is perfect. 1/2 block down from here is Anna's market and the breakfast there is a habit. Good food on the porch with cuban coffee is the only way for us to start a day. This place is considered our KW home.

I was planning an epic adventure to the Keys by Harley and I needed an affordable place to stay once I got there. The blue marlin fit the bill to a tee. I pulled in late in the afternoon and promptly was greeted by the desk clerk as I dismounted my bike in front of the door. I talked with him a while as I checked in and he told me some local events I should check out and also told me I could park my bike in a spot where I could see it from my room. The room was very clean and large. It had two queen beds, double sink wet bar and a microwave fridge combo. They even thought to give a pack of microwave popcorn. It only cost them .50 cents to do this but I have been in very expensive hotels that didn't give me diddly! The morning breakfast was a well stocked counter of donuts, danishes, fruit, coffee, and juice. The even let me into the feast a little early since they already had it set up. This hotel is only about a block from the Southernost point marker. It is a good walk to get to mallory pier but its a walk full of sites to see and if your in a hurry in key west then your in the wrong place anyway!

This is a great place, very friendy, great pool, great location. It is a MOTEL!!! You cannot beat the price. Would stay there again, room was clean.
