“Perfect Location”

This was my first trip to Key West. My husband was here during his "college days." I had researched right here on TripAdvisor the different hotels in Key West. After reading the reviews, we decided that this hotel was the ideal choice for us. I booked online through the Holiday Inn website. I had wanted a king N/S but none were available at that time. We booked a queen N/S. Imagine my surprise when we checked in that we had been upgraded to a 2-room king N/S suite...the Tennessee Williams suite...and just because were are Priority Club members! (we had just joined within the last several months) The location of the hotel is what sold us. It is within walking distance of most of the popular attractions, bars, restaurants, etc. We purchased the Key West Passport online before leaving Illinois. It included entrance fees to several tourist attractions, and all day off/on rides on the Trolley. One of the 12 Trolley stops is right at the La Concha. Ours was only a three day/two night visit. We thoroughly enjoyed Key West and the La Concha. We would definitely stay here again.

Four days at La Concha, all wonderful. Can't beat the location. Our room was a bit small, but well appointed and very comfortable. Pool was SO nice for cooling off during the hot afternoon. This is a historic hotel. The only quibble I have is that the sign doesn't say "Crowne Plaza," it says "La Concha," which made it just a bit hard to find at first. We'd love to come back.

I stayed with a group of friends (four of us total) for a weekend stay after scuba diving in Islamorada. The hotel is very nice, great rooms, very nice rooftop bar, but the best part was the location. It is right on Duval street and never used our car the entire time we were there. Everything, shops, restaurants, bars, the water, Hemingway's house, were all within a very pleasant, 10-minute walk. We had an awesome time because of this and got see a lot of Key West. Definitely recommended!

Great location within Key West, smack on Duval street which is where all the good stuff is!! Good sized rooms, especially if you can do a little deal with front desk and manage an upgrade (much easier if not visiting in US peak season). If you have 2 nights in Key West, definitely worth watching one of the sunsets from the roof top bar - complete with live music, who managed to time the ending of the song perfectly with the setting of the sun.......goose bump moment, was great. Nice pool, not huge, but serves it's purpose. Well equipped gym, with CV equipment and free weights. Really enjoyed the stay, would go back there in a heart beat!!

I am sad writing this because I am no longer in Key West! We visit KW every year and have stayed at a few other properties but this is home in Key West now. The people at this hotel are fantastic - from bell hop Phil to Nick at the pool bar - they are very welcoming and fun. We stayed 3 nights and always go left out of the hotel on Duval for a fun time! This is a lovely hotel in the very best location on Key West - what more could a traveler ask for? Can't wait to go back and will definitely stay here again - only 355 days to go!
