After a rough start at another hotel, Jane was most welcoming. The Tropical Inn was a little slice of heaven. Jane and Alan were very accomdating and knowledgable. The rooms were spotless and very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent and there is a little french bakery right next door for those with a sweet tooth. It is close enough to all the action, without all the noise and is a great location to base a vacation from. The pool is excellent, and if you get room #1 you have a private balcony overlooking Duval. Stop looking now and make the reservation! I am already planning a return trip!

My husband and I stayed at the Tropical Inn last week and we only have great things to say about it.

Jane, Allen and Brandi were so helpful with suggestions on places to go, things to do and were always willing to take the time to chat with us. They also always left out sunscreen and bug spray for their guests which are a must in Key West!

We stayed in the Banyan Suite, which had a private patio and a small sitting area near the front door, which was perfect to leave our suitcases in so we didn't have to clutter our room.

The location can't be beat. It's close enough to all of the action on Duval if you want to walk to it, but far enough away that we didn't hear noise at all. Also close the Bahama Village neighborhood, which we loved to walk through and explore the old houses, bars and restaurants.

I highly recommend the Tropical Inn for anyone visiting Key West. I really don't think you'll be disappointed.

If you're going to Key West you must stay here! My husband and I stayed in the Key Lime Loft which has a wonderful, private deck overlooking the garden and pool. We have traveled a great deal and have learned to appreciate a good bed with quality bedding and the Tropical Inn has the best! I actually emailed Jane to ask where she buys her bed and bedding so that we can sleep as well at home as we did at the Inn. You also can't beat the location! They are on Duval St within easy walking distance to everything but it's amazing how peaceful and quiet the Inn is. Take my advice, stop looking and book your room now!

We were a 'walk in' - no reservation, and were treated like old friends. The property was beautiful, and although we had the smallest room in the house, it was still very nice. We felt as though we were the only guests, rarely seeing other guests. The pool, spa and foliage were beautiful, and the breakfast was a perfect way to start the day. On top of all this, the location was unbeatable!
