We stayed here for 2 and half days. I did not like the bad smell by the pool area. The hotel is not well maintained on the outside as well as the hotel staff. My room was not cleaned and when the housekeeping lady came by she only asked if I needed anything??? I asked for clean towels, she had none and would bring them later, she NEVER came back. I had to go ask the front desk for towels, I was given clean pool towels from other previous guests (lost and found). The outside area of the hotel is gross and not maintained AT ALL. Cleanliness is not a high priority. It would be what I call a DIVE hotel! I do not recommend this hotel as family-friendly. IT was the worse hotel I have ever stayed at. I WILL NOT BE RETURNING was muttered by other guests besides me. A learning experience for allowing someone else look into hotels for our group.

Do not even think about staying at this hotel. Their website is very misleading. We arrived and had to change rooms three times. First room, a one bedroom, had a refrigerator totally iced up and leaking everywhere. The room was dismal, dingy, and nasty. We were transferred to the next room which was not compatible with what we paid for and it was horrible, nasty but i was told it was newly remodeled. When, in 1900? The next room wasn't better. Roaches everywhere. Toilet woulded flush. Air didn't work. I checked out at 6:00 am. There were seedy characters hanging out in the parking lot begging for money and I fear for my safety and that of my friend also. I don't have great expectations of beach hotels; however, this had to be the worst ever. There was feces in the stairwell. All three rooms had a terrible smell and I wound up getting sick the very next day. Pay the extra money and get a really great room at the Hilton. This is an honest review from a person that enjoys traveling and is always looking for a good deal. This isn't a deal at all. This place was horrible, horrible, horrible. I have nightmares from my short stay in this place. Please don't go there.

Thanks to my friend visiting this hotel earlier in the year, I knew where to go when I was in Daytona Beach. We were only there for four nights but it was really nice. We had a lovely room over looking the pool and the beach. It was so great to be able to sit out on the balcony and listen to the surf rolling in, I found it a great incentive to get up early each morning and go for a walk along the beautiful beach with my feet in the ocean, what more could you wish for. The hotel itself, is well situated for your every need and the staff were very pleasant and helpful.

Certainly a place I would now recommend to all my other friends.

A not so mature couple from the UK

We stayed at the daytona inn beach resort for a Saturday night stay. It looks a little rough on the outside as all beach properties do after wethering many huricanes but the inside is wonderful. The room was recently renovated and very nice. Tile floors to help with the sand a very nice bathroom renovation and a little kitchen with a microwave and fridge/freezer. The pool was very large and right on the no drive part of the beach next to the pier. The location was great. The pool is not heated so it was a little chilly and there is no hot tub. The tiki bar was closed until memorial day but there are plenty of others near by that were open. Those were the only down side. I would definatly stay there again it was a great deal for the money only 65 a night on the internet.
