We wanted to stay in a small Florida hotel and Dream Inn looked perfect. We made our reservation online and received our confirmation. Then a representative from the hotel called us, wanting us to sign a form which she would fax to us to guarantee that we would pay for our stay. We thought this a little unusual since we had already booked online with a credit card. We didn't receive the fax, and since our reservation was in two days, we didn't think much about it. We received another phone call from the inn the day before our reservation. Again, they wanted to know where the fax was. When we explained that we hadn't received it, it became confusing as to whether we had a reservation or not. In addition, since it was a weekend day, there was no way for them to fax us another form without great inconvenience for us, since we have no fax machine at home. The experience put us off. The lady from the Inn was confrontational and patronizing in her tone, making it hard for us to imagine being comfortable in her hotel. It just didn't seem like a good way to treat a customer. In the end we cancelled our reservation and went elsewhere.
