The lady at the desk was RUDE at check in, and didn't really want to help us..The elevator was noisy. We stayed on the 5th floor,the hallway was dark and old looking....suposed to be no smoking,but there were ash trays by elevators. (gross) .The room was small,real real small for a double (ocean view). the view was nice of the ocean . the balconey was nice too. The beach was GREAT.

We used to stay at this hotel for many years but have not been for a while. I had a short stay this June and found it hard to believe that it was better than ever. The management and staff have always been top of the line, but now they have added a superior product to go along with the service. I have booked rooms with Patrick for two additional stays in July and September for groups and want to let everyone know that this place is the best. There is one of the cleanest pool areas and hot tubs you will ever see, and the idea to place a glass fence area instead of railing is so appealing. The oceanfront rooms have both microwave and refrigerators and some even contain full kitchens. Each has its own private balcony. I guarantee that you will enjoy your say at this Days Inn and ask for Patrick. He will get you a price you can afford even in this tough economy. We originally booked our week stay at another hotel in Daytona but that hotel was awful. When my husband went to look for another hotel for us to stay in he found this one and it was way cheaper but way cleaner, friendly staff, great view. They let us check in early because we already had groceries at the first hotel we were staying and we just wanted to get out of the other hotel. They were very helpful and understanding...they made the rest of our week in Daytona great!

We arrived at the motel at 7am after driving for 18 hours and the room we booked was not available so the staff graciously upgraded us to a kitchenette so we could check in and get some sleep. We were able to enjoy a whole day at the ocean because of the free upgrade. I love this hotel! Right on the ocean, free coffee all day and the view is priceless. The hotel is not a 5*but the price is great for an oceanfront room. We stayed on the fourth floor and the view is wonderful. Kids had fun in the pool and made friends quickly. A good motel priced right for families traveling on a budget.
