We arrived at the motel at 7am after driving for 18 hours and the room we booked was not available so the staff graciously upgraded us to a kitchenette so we could check in and get some sleep. We were able to enjoy a whole day at the ocean because of the free upgrade. I love this hotel! Right on the ocean, free coffee all day and the view is priceless. The hotel is not a 5*but the price is great for an oceanfront room. We stayed on the fourth floor and the view is wonderful. Kids had fun in the pool and made friends quickly. A good motel priced right for families traveling on a budget.

I rented a room at this hotel for my stay in Daytona Beach. The hotel is very nice. Extremely attentive staff starting with the manager and continuing with the rest of the staff.

This is a four story hotel located at the start of the beach stip. The hotel is very clean and I would recommend it.

We stayed at the South Tropical Seas when we were in Florida for the 2008 Daytona 500. The hotel was clean & the staff was friendly & helpful.
The ocean view from the room is amazing & the pool area is very nice & kept very tidy.
We had some problems with our heater/air conditioning unit that didn't work properly, it was replaced but unfortunately the replacement did not work either. The staff was friendly & helpful both times.
The sound from other units opening their sliding glass doors is very loud & the hotel is probably due for some new doors to eliminate this problem.
All in all we enjoyed our stay here & would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to enjoy the beautiful beach at Daytona for a reasonable cost.

This is absolutely the best Days Inn I have ever visited. The staff were super friendly, the room was great and the pool and hot tub were awesome (it was December when we were there, but the pool was soooo warm that we were swimming in it at 10 pm). And the view!!!! The room had a wonderful view of the ocean. We booked the hotel from the Days Inn website and paid something like $62 for an oceanfront room. Highly recommended.
