We stayed at the Resort for the week and really enjoyed the time. Our two bedroom condo faced the North with views of the Ocean and the River. I was really amazed at how clean the entire property was. Our room had a full kitchen with everything we needed and two bathrooms!
The boys really liked the Pirate ship playground and the kiddie pool. It was hard to keep them out of the huge arcade when we wanted to play board games in the game room!
The staff was more than accomodating and treated us as if we were friends!

We found this place in a coupon book and were so delighted when we arrived! This place is absolutly gorgeous! We rented a studio unit that would sleep up to four people. The room was very clean and it had a wonderful view of the ocean and the pooldeck. There were activities through out the day such as water aerobics and bingo (no extra charge). We have never encountered a more accommodating staff. They were very pleasant and willing to help with ANYTHING we needed. The deli in the looby has very good food, from breakfast to dinner and it was very affordable.
We will definitly be booking at the Americano Beach Resort again for our future family vacations!

Terrible mistake by booking a full week. The mold story and dirty room is real. We had 2 suites on the 5th floor and they moved us out to the 9th floor. Same thing, great view and location, but very poor maintenance. If I where you book someplace else.

I booked 2 Beachfront Suites-both rooms were filthy, black mold on the ceiling and walls, the stench of mold was overwhelming we checked out after one night. We were not the only ones-there was a line of people checking out after staying only one night-all for the same reason.
Also no manager was on duty to issue credits to all checking out!
Do not ruin your vacation-stay away from this hotel.
