I read where they were nominated for a White Glove award. Not by my standards, it was kind of smelly. Another "non-smoking" room that reeked of stale cigarette smoke. The A/C was just squealing, even on low. The bed made a terrible noise because it was a king mattress on top of a wooden box. Big rooms with a complete kitchen.The place did have a great location, great view, grounds were clean and tidy. The desk clerk was sullen and never smiled once, very abrupt with us, no welcome there. She just shoved things at us to be signed and her kids were screaming upstairs. But, don't take it out on your clients, please.
I would not stay there ever again. Not worth the money.

My sister and I decided at the last minute to drive south from PA with the dog for Christmas. We were able to book a room for the week by talking to Erica at about midnight on the Saturday before Christmas. She was very helpful & friendly. We arrived Christmas Eve to find a perfectly clean, fresh efficiency room on the first floor with 2 comfortable beds and a tile floor that was perfect for Baxter. There were several other folks with their dogs and everyone was very friendly.
The front desk clerk recommended Auntie Catfish's for dinner that evening & we had a wonderful meal. The Cracked Egg Diner across the street had a Christmas dinner buffet that was very good & we ate breakfast there most days.
Would recommend this very highly to pet owners and anyone else who prefers a smaller inn with friendly, personal service.
The oceanfront location, sundeck and pool are perfect for a rlaxing vacation at the beach.

This motel was not what we expected!! My sister and I came to daytona beach for the first time to visit some realtives in September for 3 days and I choose to come here because the rooms looked decent, clean and bright online.. instead we had a MUSTY, SMOKEY room!! and the view was horrible. I wasnt happy at all for what I paid for!! ( I now know to do more shopping around before I pick one place that i thought had reasonable rates but then came to find out I could've got something way more updated and cleaner some place else ) theres no private balconies! The staff were ok, but their male manager was rude and we kinda felt like he was watching over us constantly over by the pool. one of my biggest issues were the rooms were not updated at all! One thing for sure is their pictures are very decieving...I wouldnt recommend this dump at all to anyone!

Me and my boyfriend stayed there from July 11-July 13th. The outside looked pretty bad compared to the other hotels on the strip but I was confident with the Jacuzzi Suite room I booked so I didn't care. It was very nice. We had room 301 on the 3rd floor. Got a complimentary gift bag with 2 Venus Breeze razors, gum, pepto bismol, Axe shower gel and spray for my boyfriend and a razor for him too. Thought that was very nice. Walked in the room and immediately noticed it smelled of lavender. Nice touch! It was VERY clean and the decor was nice. My only complaint was that checkout was at 12p and we decided we would check out at 11a and just swim for the rest of the day and then head home. I asked the front desk girl if it would be okay if we left the car in the parking lot but she said they had a lot of reservations that day and that the owner wouldn't like it. Mmmkay then. I should've said nevermind, we're gonna go swimming and then checkout at 12p then. LOL. Anyway, nice hotel. Paid around $150 a night though and I didn't think it was worth it for the money. It's only a 3 floor hotel and would've loved to stayed in a huge 8-12 story one. I looked online and some of those are cheaper. Ah well. Nice trip though.
