We only stayed overnight on our way to St Augustine. We chose this hotel because we have a large family, and they could accomodate us. Upon arrival, the two men behind the desk (from the way they acted, probably owners) totally ignored my existance for 5 minutes. When the front desk girl returned from her break, she was pleasant and helpful. We were very happy with the size of the room. We had a separate living area with a double bed, pull out sofa bed, tv, full size fridge, stove and dining table. The separate bedroom had a second bathroom, tv and two double beds. We even ordered a roll away, and it fit nicely, but we really didn't need it. The 2 bathrooms were a blessing when it came to getting all the kids showered after beach time. It was nice to have the balcony overlooking the pool and ocean, but the air conditioning unit blew hot air onto it, so it wasn't that enjoyable to sit on. The location on the beach is nice. I like being a bit away from large crowds, but had a life guard station right behind hotel. The property is older, so don't expect the Ritz.. The complimentary breakfast is the usual, but also had hard boiled eggs and make your own belgian waffles. The breakfast room tended to get crowded, but the attendant tried to keep it filled and clean. I would stay again if with a large family, but not for luxury or a nice romantic get away.
