Yes the hotel and town are pretty, a little plastic for my taste.
Participating in a conference meant that I cared about internet hookup, hot baths for end of the day relaxation, and my normal very early morning ritual of tea with milk.
Internet hookup- a problem from the get-go. Wireless service was one of the two amenities that was useful to me as part of the recreation fee of $12- the other was two bottles of water a day - this fee is a little over the top- I guess a way to charge more money- come on- two bottles of water for $12.00. Others in my group had similar problemswith the internet- and we were directed to a internet tech service which held me on the line for too long and then hung up and told me to call back- three times- what put me over the top was when they charged me for the calls.
For people who like a bath at the end of a long day- forget it- the Mywater is not hot enough for a bath- it is boarder-line hot enough for a shower if you you have it all the way on to hot- this is from a person who usually finds hot tubs too hot.
Don't assume you can pick up anything in town you forgot or have a craving for. There is no grocery store, or variety store, try to find something as simple as a hair brush or comb- or a container of milk - not possible. Lots of tourist type shops though.
Okay, I am doing a little venting, but come on guys, figure out the internet thing, turn up the water, and have a few of the things people might have forgotten in your storage room (they did russle up a comb after a lot of searching)
How do we save the planet if you don't give us the choice to not have the sheets changed daily....
.You are a luxury hotel, go the extra mile
