“Nice property, maybe out of the way for some”

This was the first time we stayed somewhere other than the Garden of the Gods or Manitou Springs area and, in retrospect, the location didn't work as well for us. Given how bad traffic can be on I-25, this place isn't as close to the main attractions.

But the hotel is new and in great shape. Has the same amenities you'd expect from a Hampton- 24-hour business center with computers with free internet, the usual breakfast, nice pool/jaccuzi. Found the staff to be very friendly.

The room was perhaps a bit smaller than what I'm used to at a Hampton, but still big enough for our needs. The high ceilings were a nice touch, but noise from the next floor's room seemed to be more audible than usual. I rarely comment on bathrooms, but this one was a cut above. Very large shower, nice-sized sink, etc.

I'd suggest being careful about the room you end up in. If they put you on the first floor, near the pool, ask to be moved. Pool hours are 5 a.m. to midnight (a bit early and late for open/close times, in my opinion) and it can be very loud.

“Awesome views”

Hampton Inn & Suites Air Force Academy

We booked this hotel for 2 nights on our family vacation. I was a bit concerned when we booked it as it was not in town. But as soon as we checked in I was thrilled with our choice. We had a room with a balcony and the views were amazing. We could see the mountains clearly as well as the beautiful chapel on the campus of the Air Force Academy. The hotel is located in a newer area of Colorado Springs, and it was so quiet. The room was a bit smaller than some Hampton Inns, but it was very clean, new, and extremely comfortable. We loved the area, and attempted to extend our stay, and unfortunately the hotel was completely booked. I can see why, it was a great hotel. We would choose this hotel again when in the area.

“Wouldn't stay anywhere else!”

Our family stayed here for 2 nights while my husband was in Colorado Springs on business. Our party consisted of 2 adults and 2 teen boys and we were all very pleased with the hotel. The rooms are extremely spacious with 2 queens and a sofa bed. In addition the room had a large chair and ottoman, large desk that was well lit, kitchenette, and a very nice bathroom. The pool area was great for our teens and we all enjoyed the hot tub. There is a good breakfast in the morning and the location is good. The best part of this hotel is the staff. The housekeeping, maintenance, front desk, everyone is very responsive and helpful. We travel to Colorado Springs on a regular basis and after this stay we would not stay anywhere else!!!
