This was the first time we stayed somewhere other than the Garden of the Gods or Manitou Springs area and, in retrospect, the location didn't work as well for us. Given how bad traffic can be on I-25, this place isn't as close to the main attractions.
But the hotel is new and in great shape. Has the same amenities you'd expect from a Hampton- 24-hour business center with computers with free internet, the usual breakfast, nice pool/jaccuzi. Found the staff to be very friendly.
The room was perhaps a bit smaller than what I'm used to at a Hampton, but still big enough for our needs. The high ceilings were a nice touch, but noise from the next floor's room seemed to be more audible than usual. I rarely comment on bathrooms, but this one was a cut above. Very large shower, nice-sized sink, etc.
I'd suggest being careful about the room you end up in. If they put you on the first floor, near the pool, ask to be moved. Pool hours are 5 a.m. to midnight (a bit early and late for open/close times, in my opinion) and it can be very loud.
