I booked a room for one night to celebrate our anniversary. Check in was quick and painless. We brought our bag up to the room and then came down to partake of their complimentary wine and cheese offerings
which also included crackers, cold cuts, veggies and dip. There was also hot tea and chocolate. We sat at one of the many tables on their
patio with a view of the creek. It was a very nice way to start our stay. The room was spacious with a sitting area with large windows overlooking the creek and a small balcony area. The bathroom has one sink and then another outside across from the closet. The bathroom was a little dated, but clean and the tub was very large. There is a small refrigerator stocked with water and sodas and a basket of snacks that are reasonably priced.
The front desk was extremely kind and helpful. The inn offers free wireless internet access. We needed to print something out and the front desk allowed us to use their office printer at no charge.
The Inn is located steps away from the main street of Saratoga which houses many restaurants and small shops. A good strolling street!
The bed was extra large and comfortable. We did not hear any of our neighbors during any time during our stay.
The continental breakfast had a good selection: bagels, English muffins, waffles, toast (which could all be warmed in the toaster), three types of cereal, fresh pastries from a nearby bakery, hard boiled eggs, and a large selection of fresh fruit. There were four varieties of juice, coffee, decaf and tea for beverage. Again, we enjoyed this simple meal on the patio. It was a lovely beginning to our day.
It was hard to leave so after we ate our breakfast, we went back up to the room to relax until about noon, the check-out time. If you are
looking for a reasonably priced get-away, you should consider coming to this Inn. Not exactly a bed and breakfast, but much cozier than a hotel room.
