We stayed there with our young children while visiting Universal Studios and Hollywood. Service was great, rooms were clean, excellent breakfast bar, located next to shopping mall with Target, Oline Gardon, Outback Steakhouse, and HomeTown Buffet.

The beds were great and our room had a fold out sofa to keep the kids apart/happy.

Only comment was a distant train horn in the mornings.

Just returned from sunny California. My 18 year old son and I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights in March 2008.

Easy to find, and fairly close to the airport in a quiet area.

Check in went smooth. Room had 2 queen beds. Room was clean, beds were comfortable.

We didn't eat at the hotel, just purchased a banana and fruit bowl to go at their mini-store in the hotel.

We needed driving instructions to get somewhere, so we asked the front desk. The guy working at front desk wasn't very familiar with the area, and maybe didn't understand english very well?

Overall, this was an okay place to stay, but expensive for what you get. For our 2 night stay, just the room (including tax), the price was $415. To me, thats a lot for just a average hotel. Seems they could throw in free breakfast to make it a little more feasable to pay that price. I gave it 3 stars, as I feel that for the price I paid, there should be more offered by the hotel.

Southern California family vacation in July, 07. Stayed here first two nights to see Universal Studios and North Hollywood studio's area. Great hotel, quiet, clean, treated as if we were appreciated. Nice breakfast in am, two computers and printers in lobby area for use. Nice pool, shopping area adjacent to hotel property. Overall, a pleasant stay in CA.

A good location for doing sight seeing. The hotel itself is near a lot of dining and shopping venues. The room was spacious and clean. Housekeeping tends to be unpredicatble. (one day, early service, the next, not until 3:00). The breakfast at the hotel is good and there is a little area set up with pre made sandwiches and drinks that you can buy 24 hours a day. It's hit or miss with the staff. Some were very helpful, others disinterested.
