“Independent hotel doing well, a few quirks”

There are some parts of the Radisson left over at this hotel, and my favorite one was the sleep-number beds. The rooms were spacious, the staff was friendly, and I loved the location.

FYI, the water pressure/temperature is TERRIBLE. I notified the front desk who sent up someone right away to fix the problem, but the pressure was unable to be fixed. This made for an awful shower every morning. It's sad that that's what I remember most about my stay.

“Underwhelmed”

The hotel was dated, walls were paper-thin, and every time the air conditioning turned on it was like an alarm clock going off. The first night we were there, a pipe under the sink broke and flooded part of our room. Had the conference we were attending been held elsewhere, we would not have stayed there. I think for the money, there are better options.

“Surprizingly decent.....”

OK.... A Radisson.... not my favorite chain, but the only hotel with rooms within a 30 mile radius of Bentonville, and the only one with a conference room. The rooms were very clean, but with a dated decor. The staff was friendly and everything was easy wth no complaints. If you need to stay in Fayetteville and something simple and reliable, this is your place!!!

One piece of advice, stay AWAY from the Meadow Street Bar and Grille. Our "quick" lunch experience was a 90 minute dilema with a micro managing manager that followed his staff around and told us we "made a mistake" by not ordering the special.... one piece of advice to the owners of this hotel.... revamp the cafe and its staff.

Before I write the review for this hotel I want to make it clear that my last stay with a Hotel above 2 stars ended in complete chaos and will never stay there again. It was a 5 star hotel that had 3 fire's in one night and the pipes exploded, almost got severly hurt. So, the Radisson didn't really have that much to live up to in terms of a better experience than the last one. The Hotel did need some renovation but I've stayed in 4 star hotels that had about the same decor. The service was very friendly and fast. I did have a problem with the elevators though, they moved very slow. This hotel is one of the best I've stayed in for along time. I will be back.

“do not stay here”

I grew up in Fayetteville and go there often. I saw this building being built. I have stayed there probably fifty times in twenty five years. It needs to be remodeled. The managers and staff should be let go. I was there last summer and stayed in the governors suite and it was wonderful. Except a teenage girl pulled the fire alarm at 4 am and we had to walk all the way down. Someone had stolen her purse so she thought it would be a good idea to wake everyone in the hotel up. If the police hadn't come I am not sure what would have happened to her. This is not the hotels fault. There are lots of stupid people anywhere you go. However, I stayed in the worst room of my life on june 11th and 12th. Light bulbs missing, airconditoner not working. no maid service, ice machine broken, pool tiles crumbling, 1 elevator working sometimes two but you took your chances. We had to pry the doors open twice and jump down. The kids thought it was funny. We had a random service guy come to the room wanting to plunge the toliet. Which we didn't ask for. It was loose but we didn't report it. A maid did come early sunday morning and asked us when we would be checking out. She didn't come at all saturday. Don't stay here. I have had many different budgets and have stayed in some dumps. This was the worst . When you pay for a dump you expect it. This place is all about location as someone else has stated that will be what you are paying plus a dumpy room and poor service.
