I grew up in Fayetteville and go there often. I saw this building being built. I have stayed there probably fifty times in twenty five years. It needs to be remodeled. The managers and staff should be let go. I was there last summer and stayed in the governors suite and it was wonderful. Except a teenage girl pulled the fire alarm at 4 am and we had to walk all the way down. Someone had stolen her purse so she thought it would be a good idea to wake everyone in the hotel up. If the police hadn't come I am not sure what would have happened to her. This is not the hotels fault. There are lots of stupid people anywhere you go. However, I stayed in the worst room of my life on june 11th and 12th. Light bulbs missing, airconditoner not working. no maid service, ice machine broken, pool tiles crumbling, 1 elevator working sometimes two but you took your chances. We had to pry the doors open twice and jump down. The kids thought it was funny. We had a random service guy come to the room wanting to plunge the toliet. Which we didn't ask for. It was loose but we didn't report it. A maid did come early sunday morning and asked us when we would be checking out. She didn't come at all saturday. Don't stay here. I have had many different budgets and have stayed in some dumps. This was the worst . When you pay for a dump you expect it. This place is all about location as someone else has stated that will be what you are paying plus a dumpy room and poor service.
