This is probably our 5th trip between us to Scottsdale but our first visit to Barcelona. We had several folks recommend it to us and we weren't disappointed. Reseravations seem to be a must - we saw one party turned away at the door with 'it's bound to be a 2-3 hour wait' - they were a party of four, like us. Interestingly though we saw several empty tables throughout our visit, which was at 7:30 on a Friday night. Perhaps they weren't dressed 'cool' enough? I'd advise coming looking your hippest -- this is a 'to be seen' kind of place and there is a lot of looking going on. The food comes in HUGE portions - we were a party of two couples and had we not shared entrees we'd have never been able to finish - as it was it wasn't too easy! The food is very good, though, albeit a bit salty, and the wine list is excellent. We ate on their patio on a balmy night and it was gorgeous. If you're looking for a quiet place this wouldn't be it, but the atmosphere is fun. As the evening progresses it does turn into a nightclub - if that's not your scene you should make an early reservation. Would we go back? Not sure - there are so many great places to eat in Scottsdale, but we're definitely glad we visited. Great place!
