Just back from a short trip to Phoenix, Arizona, where we booked a hummer tour into the desert for an afternoon.

We were picked up at our hotel at lunchtime and taken out into the Arizona desert for an off-road expereince in a Hummer. Although we were late getting picked up, the guide phoned us to let us know he was stuck in traffic. We were dropped off back at the hotel about 5 hours later.

The tour took us into the wilds around Phoenix and included a number of stops during the trip, where our guide pointed out some interesting facts. We even saw a rattle snake!

There were drinks and snacks provided as part of the cost of the ticket. A number of photos were taken during the trip and we were provided with a CD containing the photos at the end.

On the whole it was a great afternoon and I'd fully recommend it if you fancy doing something a bit different for a half day.
