“Very Nice Drury”

This is one of the newer properties in town. They have a nightly reception which includes food and mixed drinks. The folks at the front desk and staff in general were pretty friendly.

The room itself is spacious and includes a mini fridge and microwave. The bathroom was very clean and spacious. The linens on the bed were updated and the bed was very comfortable.

Overall I would definitely stay here again. Check for weekend specials on their website.

“Such a disappointment on this trip”

We have stayed here on several occasions since the hotel first opened.

Up until our last visit, we were extremely impressed. On this occasion it was quite the opposite for the following reasons:

One or both of the lifts were out of action for the whole of our stay. As our son-in-law was on crutches with a broken ankle this was extremely inconvenient.

The only toaster was broken on the first morning and had completely disappeared by the second. I was told they had 'one on order that hadn't arrived'. Go and buy one from Target!

There was no sugar at breakfast and the staff had to find some in guests' rooms. This happened on two occasions.

It took the Front Desk 20 minutes to work out how the safety deposit boxes operated.

On two out of the three nights Housekeeping did not clean up our room.

We were very disappointed with the standard of the hotel on this trip and will opt for another hotel next time we visit Amarillo. Such a shame when the hotel started with such a high level of service.

“Great place to stay”

This was our first time to stay at a Drury Inn. We stayed at another in KC on the way home from our 2 week driving trip out west. Because of those 2 places, we've decided that we will always seek out Drury Inns!

This is a beautiful hotel. The lobby and rooms are very spacious and nicely decorated. Our teens loved the pool area. The breakfast area was very spacious and the food was great!

This room was a great value!

“Nice for Amarillo?”

Got a decent rate on it, was expecting something a little above and beyond given how many five star ratings it got ... it was just ok. Staff was nice, room was motel average, breakfast was substandard, jacuzzi was only half working. Solidly 3 stars with a "I'm sure it's very nice for Amarillo" disclaimer.

Definitely think it's cheapest if you book through the hotel website.

I would probably stay at the brand new Holiday Inn Express if I did it again.

They were very dog friendly, which was awesome.

“A nice stay”

We stayed here one night while waiting to have day surgery for our 2 year old. It is a new hotel that we found to be up to the usual Drury standards. Our room was clean, the hotel staff friendly and the overall stay was good. Because of a late arrival and early departure, we didn't get to partake of the other amenities the hotel offers.
