We have mixed feelings about this hotel; one one hand we were delighted to be upgraded to a suite because it was our honeymoon. On the otherhand we felt let down by the service in the hotel.
Our room was lovely, however there are two wings to the hotel. We were in the West Wing and most things seem to be in the East wing which was a little annoying.
The main let down for us was the conceige service. We asked about a trip to the Terracotta Warriors and were told the hotel didn't run one, but that they could take us on a tour in the hotel car at a costly price. We later found out there was a general tour, but we had already arranged one with a company in town. The conceige told us he couldn't organise train tickets, just plane tickets, then he said he could when we said we thought this was unusual , as we had booked our other train tickets through the conceige in previous hotels. We were then told there were no overnight sleeper train tickets to Beijing. We later got some through a travel agency. We felt let down by the service, because this is one of the main reasons we decided to stay in a well recognised chain hotel.
The hotel location and its facilites are good, but don't rely on the conceige service and beware of the expensive hotel cars they try to sell to you for trips out of town and to the airport - it is much cheaper just to take a taxi
