Do not look at prior review anymore! This hotel is now called the Paradis Palace (since mid last year from what i was told when it was totally revamp). And it does kind of have the Palace atmosphere to it.
I went there with a couple of friends for a week end break on all inclusive. Luckily i went through a local Tunisian agency which garanteed good services to me. I have no regrets
The reception hall is well lighted with huge windows, with nice furnitures (i'd like one of those sofa in my flat!) and marbles everywhere. The rececption staff was very very polite and smiling even if sometimes they don't fully get what you're saying, but at least they do try.
The room was beautiful, very clean and smelling very nice. There is an open bathroom with a bathtub you'd want to sleep in at least once. The chambermaids seemed to do their job quite well, it was always clean when we got back to our room. They even folded my PJ in a butterfly shape.
The restaurant was nice although don't go at 7 as it is packed. wait 8.30 you'll still get plenty of food and the waiter full attention which is nice to get more vino. The food is not gastronomic but was nice. they didn't serve the same 2 days in a row, so this is good and gives you a sense of diversity. they do a wonderfull Seashell Paella.
The outside of the hotel is great. The pool is one of the best i've been in Hammamet so far, they have brand new lounge (a sunbather dream coming true), all the outside furnitures are kind of hoisery but not in a tacky way. Quite classy actually..
The animation staffs also seem to know their job. They have a kid club which all the children seemed to enjoy very much, my ears can remember.. We noticed that most of them seemed to speak about 4 differents languages. Nice and Rare.
Overall, this is a great hotel. i'll definitely go back and bring more friends with me.
shame i don't have any pictures to show you. Next time!
