I've stayed here 3 times in the last 2 years and mostly had a good experience. The rooms are large and clean, with good bathrooms and offer great value for money. Unlike the last post I have found the reception staff to be very helpful and friendly.

This is a gay hotel and sauna that caters for gay (male) tourists and thus is not suitable for anyone who is not gay.

My one complaint was that on my last stay in Feb 2007 I was in a room that backed onto the entertainment street behind the hotel and the noise went on til the early hours. The back facing rooms really need double glazing.

Other than my one negative comment, I can recommend this hotel if you are a gay tourist visiting Patong.

This place caters to the gay sex tourist. It's ugly, kitschy, and dark. The front desk is borderline hostile. I was kept up all night by the sex in the next room, and when I tried to check out, they insisted on charging me for all the nights reserved. Oh, and the airport pick-up never materialized.
