My husband attends school a few nights in Albany each week and we tried to find a really inexpensive motel. We came across the EconoLodge on Wolf Road and were a little apprehensive, but overall, it's not bad. The hallways are run-down (peeling paint, worn-out carpeting), but the room itself was clean. There are no amenities to speak of and a really outdated tv, but there was plenty of hot water and the room/bathroom was clean. Continental breakfast was meager, but if you need a cheap room this is more than adequate; just don't expect a lot of extras.
