I visited the domina harem last august with my 2 teenage children on an all inclusive basis.
From the minute we arrived we found the service fantastic, all staff were brillient, we were taken to a duplex suite which was absolutly beautiful, i found them to be very clean and of ahigh standard, cleaned every day without fail. 2 bathrooms, 1 with a shower and 1 with a jacuizi and steam bath, never got round to using the steam as it was around 150 degrees when we were there, the air con was a godsend, the views from the balcony were amazing. We had a four poster bed, safe, hairdrier, large tv, fair enough there wasnt many english channels but on holiday who wants to stay in and watch telly? mini bar which was restocked with wter and canned drinks every day. you can also get water to take away from the reception or pool bar. After reading some of the other reviews about the food and bars i can honestly say we never had a problem, we we allocated 5 restraunts to eat at but found the food so good in the spice restraunt we ate most meals theres, the thai chef was brillient! the was plenty of choice so no one went hungry, ramadam was a star. the pool bar did close while meals were served reopening at 9-12 but you could get a drink with your meal.
all the brits met up at the pool bar at night and of course stayed till the bar closed, you know who you are ;-)
yes there were a lot of russains and italions but everyone did their own thing so alls good.
entertainment around the harem is non existant but we didnt find it a problem as we made our own, if you jump on the hotels free transport, taf taf itll take you anywhere you want to go in the resort you want to go and the entertainment is out there, great for a visit to the private beach too, always plenty of loungers and the hotel provide beach towels, the snorkellings great. there are a few shops on site for snacks or gifts which are reasonable.
we had a wicked time on the quads in the desert and an amazing trip to cairo museim and the pyramids.
met some fantastic people who made our holiday.
the only problem we did have was when my son was badly burnt and told to remove his tshirt when in the pool (not a good idea with blisters in 150 degrees) which was a bit unreasonable when people were swimming fully clothed due to religion.
other than that i can honestly saythe domina harem was one of the best holidays ive had.
