i have just come back from staying at jaz mirable beach in egypt oh my god what a great holiday staff were so friendly they could not do enough for you looked after us the whole holiday.
weather was great and well the beach was fantastic and the sea it was so clear you could see the fish swiming round your feet also it felt like you was in a bath.
food great something different everynight and if you was a fussy eater there was something for everyone, entertainment was fun and the night club was a bonus until 3.0am great, rooms were amazing cleaned every day with a lovely towel display from the cleaner you could not ask for more, i would highly recommend this hotel we are going back the end of sept 2008.

“totally underated”

This is our first visit to sharm el sheik, We arrived at the Jaz Mirabel Beach Hotel,Just 15 mins transfer.
Are first impression was, What a beautiful friendly welcoming hotel.
We were escorted to our room were our luggage arrived shortly after.
The first hotel where the safe and aircon are free.
First impression of our room was very spacious and clean lots of towels and nice clean white sheets.
A lovely terrace with table and chairs.
We then went to look all round the grounds the gardens are beautiful and well tended, lots of large pools all very clean.
Had a lovely pot of tea at one of the pool bars,The staff are wonderful and very friendly, all speak good english.
There are lots of shops in nice surroundings, also lots of nice play areas plus water slides for the children.
they have nice saunas and a large jacuzzi straight opposite a fully equipped gym.
They have two buffet restaurants and three a la carte restaurants, the waiters are very friendly and cant do enough for you, the food was varied, well presented and very nice.
Our favourite a la carte was the asian where we celebrated my birthday,The meal and service was excellent then to my suprise they carried a birthday cake out and sang happy birthday, a lovely suprise and very memorable. You can eat in or outside.
The entertainment is varied and very enjoyable, There are lots of different areas to have a drink you can sit inside or relax outside overlooking beautiful surroundings.
The shurock bar is very relaxed and became one of our favourites, before you have sat down there is a waiter ready to serve you , with a big smile.
From april there is two beach partys every week one is disco and the other is a live band, a great night for the young at heart.
The hotel leads straight onto the beach where there are tables and windbreaks for you,The sand is gravely, better to walk on, you can walk out in the sea a long way and still be knee deep but there are parts where you can swim, you can see lots of fish but it is advisible to wear something on your feet while in the sea.
The camel and horse rides are great on the beach, you can also hire scooters and quad bikes.
The thompson reps live in the hotel and are available every day, they are friendly and very helpful, with lots of enjoyable trips, our favourite trip was to see the pyramids.
On our fourth visit this year we are going to do the trip to swim with the dolphins.
We have fell in love with this hotel and its staff and will come back two or three times every year.

“Nice Resort”

Jaz Mirabel Beach

May 28, 2008

Overall we enjoyed our stay at the Mirabel Beach. Hotel is very clean and well kept and the reception and lounge areas are really nice. Room was large, however for a 5 star resort I would have expected a more luxurious room. I have had several all inclusive holidays around the world and have to say I have had better food with more choice elsewhere, however it was okay. The staff are friendly but maybe overly so, trying too hard with the stereotypical english phrases such as pukka mate, laters and whatever! it did get a bit annoying and we did try to avoid some of the waiters! There was loud music playing from the animation team between the 2 large pools every day for a few hours, which I didnt really like as I do like to relax in peace! Overall though the resort is really nice, plenty of room around the pools and the beach is fine - nice areas to sunbathe. The sea is really shallow from the hotel so no good for snorkelling and it is also concerning that guests are paddling out and damaging the live coral, I hope the hotel do something about this, such as build a walkway. We got a last minute deal so good value and if you do get a good deal, I would definately recommend it.

“Overpriced for the services offered”

Jaz Mirabel Beach

We have been there during orthodox Easter having in mind to relax in a nice place while diving in Sharm. The hotel reception is impressive but rooms are tired. The bathroom door was broken and we had to call reception. As expected, they fixed it in 20 minutes.

The food was excellent, with interesting visual arrangements. Stay away from the snack bar and in general from the All inclusive option. The food and drinks served in the snack bars are horrible and not better than any average lousy fast-food. Dirty plastic glasses for drinks, artificially flavored hamburger etc.

Pools were very clean and nice, beach was really well kept. The reef prevents you from swimming near the shore.

If planning to visit Sharm el Sheikh, when you ask for a taxi they will offer you the hotel limousine (called taxi) and will charge you 3-4 time more than a normal taxi. You have shuttle buses that will do the same think for much less money.

One other thing that you might want to take into account is the increasing number of Russians. You have them everywhere and what became annoying was that all Egyptians were thinking we were are Russians too due to the skin.

Overall, it was a nice experience and since we were mostly out for diving, we were ok with this hotel. But, finally, it is a hotel for families with children. A lot of children. Noisy children. Bring your iPod, might be helpful. :)
