I stayed at this hotel with my parents but stayed in a single room. From the moment that we booked in the staff were very helpful and polite, nothing was too much trouble.
The rooms are modern and well looked after. There was a bottle of water waiting for me upon arrival in the room which was great because of the humidity in the weather. The rooms are air conditioned which is also a god send as I said the weather is so hot. My room was cleaned everyday and sometimes a design was made with the towels and left on the bed which was a very nice gesture.
The hotel is stunning and well looked after, there are two main pools, a quiet one and the activity one. We tended to stay at the activity pool as the atmosphere was better and there were things to do if you got bored with sunbathing. There is an animation team who work everyday at this pool from 09.00hrs-16.30hrs. They were amazing and really made the holiday a pleasure. All the animation team worked really hard and were so friendly, they would take time out to come and sit with you during the day and find out how everythings going and to keep you laughing as well. There was no hassle though if you didn't want to join in with fun they would leave you be.
We visited the beach on one occassion. We were collected by the free bus in the morning and collected again at the beach later in the afternoon. The roads in Egypt are crazy and I certainly wouldn't advise walking or getting a blue and white taxi as they are well known for being crazy drivers and most of their cars aren't equipped with seatbelts and even door handles! So definately ge the free bus or the hotel taxi's which are also superb. The beach was another lovely day. The beds were readily available and the staff again were very friendly. The sea is fantastic but you definately need some type of shoes to walk in the ocean as it is very stoney and it will hurt if you go in with no shoes. I would recommend buying a snorkle set and going in the ocean the water is amazing and the wildlife that lives under the sea is beautiful and fascinating to see.
We went on a boat trip to Tiran Island whilst there, the trip was ok but there were a few things that let it down. In the morning when you are taken to the harbour it is chaos! There are so many people waiting o go on the same trip but with different companies that you are waiting in absolute madness to get designated to a group and get on a boat. The Egyptians don't seem to have organisation skills with anything I'm afraid. The journey out to the island took 2 hrs longer than it should have done which meant that we didn't have much time to do any snorkelling. But saying that, the first stiop that we made was absolutely amazing. The life under the sea is incredible and I have never seen anything like it. We then had to make another stop for the deep sea divers to do a dive. This seemed a little unfair as we had paid to do snorkelling and we weren't allowed to snorkel where the divers were as it was too dangerous. So we had to wait on the boat for nearly an hr doing nothing. The second stop that we made was again amazing to see but the downside to this was that there was jellyfish in the water which the staff on the boat said were safe to swim with, yet my mum got stung in the neck by one of them!!! Luckily she was ok, but this upset us for the rest of the trip and we stayed out of the water from then on. We were disappointed that the staff said it was ok and that they even took us somewhere where there was jellyfish.
The weather was amazing all week, stayed in the late 30's, early 40's. It was so hot, so take a high sunblock for the first couple of days coz you will burn. And at the moment it is mosquito season so take plenty of creams or mosquito repellants, we got biten so many times and they can become extremely infected.
All in all we had an amazing time and we will definately be going back to Sharm El Sheikh and the St Georges Three Corners Hotel.

just spent a 4 night break at st georges, cheap detail for £200 all inclusive. arrived at hotel early evening (sunday) very busy but checked in very quickly and issued with our pink bands. after been took to our room 1025(large room) overlooking the road. one huge double bed one large single, free tv english speaking channels
free safe and water which you could refill at various points across the hotel.the bell boy then gave a quick guided tour of the hotel and surrounding bars/resturant. the hotel was very busy but the only a little que for food and drinks, first time all in within egypt (would not do this again it was not for us) but I see why people do (good value) and should a bargain like this come again i would book a trip like this (prefer b/b in nammi bay)
good choice of food at breakfast, lunch and evening.again the staff were spot on very helpfull. four bars for light refreshments 10am till midnight only drank vodka/lemon as you would except not the best but drinkable. two pools one quiet spent a morning at the disco pool very entertaining but the thought of boom boom all day no thanks, must people at the hotel are regulars just with picking up comments see you in september etc. plentry of sun beds (with matts) and shades, free towels. taxi service to nammi bay £9 return internet £2 for 30 mins ladies no hair dryer's in the room but you can hire (weather very hot)

We have just returned from a 2 week holiday at the St George Three Corners. The hotel is magnificent and we have never experienced such incredible service before.
The pools are very good there is a Pool area for people to play water games and a queit pool were people could relax. The pool attendants were wonderful keeping the area clean and safe for the guests.
Restaurants are great with a good choie of dishes.
Overall I would say this is probably the best hotel we have ever stayed in on holiday and I am extremely fussy.

“Great Holiday”

Three Corners Saint George

Apr 30, 2008

We have just returned form 2 weeks in Sharm staying at the St George. We decided to stay there after reading the reviews on Trip Advisor.

On arrival we were unsure and were given a road overlooking the main road. After speaking to reception who were very helpfull, they arranged to move us a soon a better room became available, the next day. The new room was by the quiet pool and balcony was by the pool. The was room 1034 so try asking for a room close to this number if you want the quiet side of the hotel. The other pool was very busy with lots of kids and where the animation team held their events.

The hotel was very clean and the room excellent, could not ask for more.

Food was good although with all inclusive deals it got a bit boring after the fiorat week. It was however easy to head into Namma Bay on the free shuttle bus and ate at Hard Rock (£20 for a 2 course meal for 2 - very cheap) and Pizza Hut (not worth it as it does not taste that great). The Camel Bar in Namma is certainly the place to go for a drink and is also the cheapest! My only bad comment about the food is that it was not always hot, once placed on the buffet it was not kept warm.

This trip to Egypt was our 5th and we found it the most enjoyable. The location was good and the shuttle bus fine for getting into town or to the beach. The staff were the friendliest we have come across and they were not looking for tips like in some other hotels we have stayed.

We did four trips:

None of these were booked through Thomas Cook and they were very expensive, we checked out the internet before going and found some tour operators - Sharm-club, Sharm Excursions and Longwood.

Ras Mohammed by boat (£36 for 2) - with Sharm Excursions

Great trip, the crew of the boat and guide could not have been more helpfull. Lunch was one of the best meals I had whilst on holiday. snorkelling was fantastic.

4X4 Desert Trip, Camel Ride, Snorkelling at the Blue Hole and Shopping in Dahab (£45 for 2) - with Sharm Club. What fantastic trip and such value for money, across the desert in a 4x4, then a camel ride along the beach for 30 minutes, reaaching the Hole Hole where the snorkelling was breath taking, nice lunch included then a stop in Dahab for some shopping. Something for everyone.

Terhan Island by boat (£36 for 2) - with Sharm Club

Another great trip with a nice lunch and very friendly crew. Even managed to see 8 dolphins swimming alongside the boat.

Jersusalem by bus and plane (£235 for 2) - with Longwood Travel

Ok so you always have to have one bad trip on holiday and this was it. We are glad we have been to Jerusalem but would not go back.

The first problem was the pricing and the journey. We paid £95 each for the trip and were contacted the day we were going and asked for an extra £25 each as no one else was travelling from Sharm. The journey was very long, picked up at midnight and taken by bus to the border near Taba, we waited around for an hour on other side of the border in the early hours till the guide showed up with the bus. Travelled by bus to a dirty public beach on the banks of the Red Sea and left alone by the rep for 50 minutes to go for a swim, all the while he sat in a resteraunt and had a big boys breakfast. The changing facilities and toilets were dirty and smelly.

Got back on the coach and travelled to Jeruslam, starting at the mount of olives and then walk into the old city, past the wailing wall and to the 12 stations of the cross, many the guide missed out of walked quickley by.

We stopped for lunch at a kebab resteraunt selected by the guide. We were told that it would cost £6 each for lunch, including drinks, we were sat down at tables and served with a small donner kebab and cold chips. The rep was sat elsewhere tucking into a feast! When the colected the money it turned out to be £12 each! and they had some amazingly strange exchange rates, obviously more backhanders for the rep.

Form hear we headed up to the Chirch of the Holy Sacrement, a nightmare! People everywhere showing no respect or reverance, rubbish everywhere and people pushing and shoving everywhere, really ruined the experience. We were given 20 minutes by the guide to visit the church, not long enough, we found out why as he wanted to take us toi a shop to buy things for 40 minutes so he could get his commission.

A couple of more sites an we were on our way to the airport and flight back to Elait then across the border and another 3 1/2 hour bus trip back to Sharm. We were gald to go back and wouldn not visit Isreal agin. There just seems to be an attitude there from the people. The rep was appauling and treated people like primary school children, and took every oppertunity to run down everything not Jewish, especially the christian stories of Christ.

Would go back to the hotel and Sharm, Three Corner Resorts seem very good and although not 5 star are better in many respects.

“Would go back tomorrow!!!”

Where do I start?? Everything about the holiday was fantastic!!The hotel was a lovely hotel, all the staff there very so so friendly and helpful.
The rooms were lovely and big with plenty of space. We had a twin room as i went with my mum. Our room over looked the gardens and kids club. It was very quiet and hardly heard any noise from outside.
The food was really nice, always a variety and it was never the same, they always had a different meat each day. All the food was varied. On one of the last nights we went to the restaurant upstairs which you pay for, you do get a £3 voucher each, which doesnt sound alot but the meals only end up about £10 each!! The food up there was amazing, you got loads for your money and again there was a good variety.
There were the 2 pools- queit and noisey; we spent our time round the noisey pool. The animation team were great and always tried to get you involved in whats going on. They would come round and talk to you and make you feel welcome.
There is always water available around the hotel and it is bottled water so theres no problems, but you can buy bottled water from the bar at reception if you wish.
The reception staff were great and very friendly and helpful, we were always talking to Michael who was on reception. Very friendly and always said hello and waved.
We booked a couple of trips though the hotel; the first was The City Tour, which is only £5 each and you out and about for around 3hrs. This is well worth doing. Sameh (the Guest Relations Manager) does the tour and you go on a coach to the Coptic Orthodox church and get told about the history of the church; you go to a huge Mosque which is amazing to see, and interesting to learn about the culture; you visit a new shopping mall called il mercato, which unless we went on the trip, we would never have known it was there, and it is well worth knowing about. We visited a monument which was amazing and you get told about that once your their, and the views were amazing!! You also visit Fantasia and get told about the show that goes on there etc. The whole trip was great for getting to know the area and knowing where places were and how easy it is to get about. I would definatly recommend this tour and for £5 you cant complain!! Sameh was great on the tour, he would answer any questions and told you lots of history and interesting information about the area.
We also kept going to see Sameh when he was at his desk in reception for a chat and ask him about other places to go, and he was more than happy to have a chat with you any time and help you with anything else. At the beginning of the holiday Sameh took us for a tour round the hotel and shows you where everything is.
The other trip we did was the Bedoiun Dinner where you go into the desert and have a traditional dinner and watch several shows and theres a few little stalls there where you can buy souviners. You can also have a go at riding a camel which is quite funny!!
There is entertainment on every night except Sundays, and there is always activities going on in the day, in and out of the pool!
Even though the hotel isnt on a beach, it does have its own sandy beach, which we didnt go to, but you can also use the beach at the sister hotel Kirosiez, which we went to a few times for snorkling. There are buses to and from the hotel to both beaches which dont cost anything.
There are also buses at night into Naama Bay which you have to book to get on but again dont cosy anything.
If there is anything you want to know about the buses and going places Sameh at Guest Relations has all the information there.
There are a few little shops in the hotel and a bank which is great for changing your money, and the rate you get in the hotel is the same as any bank outside of the hotel.
The hotel was very very clean, and the gardens are always maintained to a high standard. There is always people cleaning making sure everywhere is tidy. There are security at the gate at the front of the hotel.
There are also afew shops outside at the front of the hotel that sells bags, pictures, perfume etc.
Not sure what else to say really other than i had a fantastic holiday and I would definatly go back to this hotel when i go back to Egypt!!
