I came from this hotel just few days ago and I didn't really want to leave from there.Next time I will go for minimum of 10 days!.We were there with my family and everyone was very happy there.People there are very nice and friendly.Staff is good and willing. All hotel area is very nice, nice lighting in the evening.Every evening is any show and after show is disco.Animators take care of fun and are very nice and funny.During the day is aquaaerobic and some other activities.Lots of activities for children too.Minidisco in the evening as well.Food is O.K.But everyone had some small digestive problems. But I think is the same in all Egypt.Different water, different taste of food...But cakes and sweet were very tasty:) Beach is quite small but nice.Perfect for snorkling and diving.Beautiful underwater world.Bar on the beach.Rooms are nice and clean.Pools are very nice too. That was one of my best holiday ever.I think I will come back again:)

“had good time!!”

Hotel Prima Rehana

Mar 19, 2008

my girlfriend and I have just returned from a week at the prima and overall had a good time, we used this holiday as a get away to chill out. i'll get the bad points out the way -. russians, pain in the bum, rude, greedy and not very domesticated, ie no please or thank you, excuse me or sorry. also have no aspect of the word 'queue' . flys, big problem around the food and bars. food, not great but edible, very samey. aircraft noise, not too bad, seeing as your only 5 mins from the airport, mainly its the 4 engined 1970's russian planes that make the ground shake. i recomend that you take imodium plus, as we did get a slightly dodgy belly, this seemed to help. and a mozzie plug for the room.
beach, what beach!!!. there is also not a lot within walking distance of the hotel, only a few shops, bank, pharmacy and gift shops. evening entertainment is not great, a disco which is empty most nights.

ok now the good points. weather, wow its suppose to be there winter and its red hot every day, mid 30's with a slight breeze that helped. staff within the resort were soooo friendly and couldn't do enough for you, (say hi to mahmod and madgy ,pool bar, they looked after us). room, spotless every day, maid was excelent, so happy and friendly. towel service, no need to take more than one towel each, as they are supplied. pools and pool slide, very clean, cleaned twice daily. beware of taxi drivers, dont pay more then £5 (50 egyptian pounds) to go anywhere far, naama bay was a 20 min taxi ride and we only paid a fiver. visa, you dont need one! only if you go out of the sinia provence ie luxor or cairo. when you say to them you dont want one, they look at you as if your stupid, but just say no. drink, cups are plastic for good reason, but always seemed clean.

overall it was our first time in egypt and reminded me of turkey 10 years ago, an up and coming holiday country. we had a good time and would defo go back.

“Sharm El Sheikh Prima Life Rehana Hotel - Excellent !!”

Hotel Prima Rehana

We have just returned from a weeks holiday in the Prima Life Rehana Hotel Sharm El Sheikh. This was our first trip to Egypt and really didn't know what to expect. We were on an all inclusive package which we have never done before either but found this to be great.
The hotel was excellent. We couldn't fault the service or the cleanliness of the place. The room was cleaned every day and the staff couldn't do enough for us.
Although we were late arriving at the hotel (after midnight due to delays at Manchester) there was food and drinks waiting for us on arrival.
There were so many choices at all meal times no one could ever say they didn't like something on the menu, and again the service from the waiters was excellent.
There wasn't much going on outside the hotel complex so going all inclusive was a good idea for us. There was some entertainment in the hotel but this was a bit limited - however we made our own entertainment "people watching" which was really funny. You can get a taxi into Naama Bay for about £3 each return to see all the bedouin bars, nightlife and shops which is a real eye opener.
Overall we thought this was a great holiday but not long enough - the people are so friendly and you can have a really good laugh with them. They do hassle you a bit to look in their shops but as long as you are firm and say no then they will leave you alone. We will definitely go back to Egypt again and would stay in the same hotel but maybe go a little bit later when the evenings are a bit warmer.

“Good value”

Hotel Prima Rehana

My friend and I stayed here as part of a package organised through a travel agent with Olympic holidays. We were looking for a cheap week in the sun and at £420 per head for all-inclusive package, thought this fitted the bill.

I thought the hotel was very nice and found it to be better than a 5 star property I stayed in the Dominican Republic last year. Our room was lovely - big and clean with a good bathroom. We had a good terrance which overlooked the pool. The hotel was however very near the airport. Some flights were noisier than others, but the loud ones made the windows shake! They were only during the day and did not bother us, but if you think you would not like this, I would choose another hotel.

I thought the food was excellent - plentiful with a good selection. We saw the usual hundreds of fussy Brits complaining that there was nothing they could eat and sticking to bread and chips!!, but my friend and I found nothing to complain about on this front.

The beach was a bit of a disappointment, but as we're not that into sand, we only visited once for a look and then stuck to the pool.

The staff were polite and helpful.

Our only disappoinment was with our 'holiday rep'. I've not travelled on this type of holiday for some time and forgot how annoying they are. The only thing we wanted to do was climb Mount Sinai, however he told us he couldn't arrange it, despite it being offered on the companies tour roster. He then told us we couldn't do it as it was too cold! We eventually booked the trip ourselves through a company in Naama Bay - no problems.

“loved the rehana!”

We went to the prima rehana as a cheap holiday in the sun, after reading some bad reviews we were quite apprehensive about going

but it was lovely... the rooms were always kept spotless and are large and light with a balcony overlooking the pool areas.

the pools in the hotel are outstanding and make up for the negative of not having a great beach. there are 3 different pool areas all with different benefits to them.

the staff are all friendly and we found the managers especially in the buffet at night always made sure everthing was ok.
there is a large range of food, its the best food ever but for all inclusive and for the prices they charge its completely reasonable and there are planty of places to snack during the day.

the only other down side was that there wasnt much to do at night however this wasnt a big concern for us.

the hotel runs shuttles into naama bay and the old town at night which was a brilliant service and the old town is more than worth a visit

there is also a good range of shops in the grounds.

we found everyone to be very friendly and would do anything to make our stay better.

i would recommend the hotel and we came back feeling extremely relaxed and didnt want to leave!!
