“Lovely lazy break”

We loved this hotel. Our room was spotless. The gardens were lovely, flowering shrubs and nice stonework. The staff were great, so friendly and helpful. We liked the food, it was basic, fresh and healthy - the beef was a bit chewy so we went for the fish and chicken. Don't go if you only like fish fingers, burgers and chips. Also bear in mind the price you are paying, We thought it was good value for money. Do take insect repellant as we both got badly bitten.

“Nice hotel, shame about the food”

We had an all inclusive week here and thought it was OK. It was small & old fashioned so we'd rate it around a 3 star. Good points - all the staff were wonderful and couldn't do enough for you, and the rooms were kept immaculately clean by our friendly cleaner. The pool area was nicely sheltered and the beach was fine. The only fault was the food - edible but very boring, salad, rice, pasta, chicken, beef and a vegetable (yes, only one choice!) at every meal. Boring, bland desserts and hardly any fresh fruit. The local beer was excellent but the spirits are awful so take your own duty-free from the UK and just have their coke or juice from the bar! We did the trip to St Catherine's which was brilliant, booked via Med Hotels Rep, and we did the glass bottom boat trip booked through 'BONZO' -see photo - on the beach which we'd recommend. Snorkelling at Fanara beach was great, but much better if you just walk just round the headland from the hotel beach! Would do Sharm again, but not this hotel - will pay more for a good 4 or 5 star next trip!

Me and my partner stayed in this Hotel in September 2006 we had a great time the hotel was clean and the Cleaner was excellent. The food was ok it, although it wasmore less the same throughout the week but you can always eat out for next to nothing if you wish to, this a small hotel so there is a nice atmosphere, i wouldnt really recommend the disco on site - Na'amma bay is the place to go for a excellent night out and its only a short Taxi ride away.
The staff are very pleasant, friendly and helpfull.
I recommend going over to the beach Bar for a nice Cocktail or Two, the Staff there are Brilliant, we made very good friends with Maqmood and Aymon whilst on our Holiday.
Desert Quaddiing and snorkling are a must - the things that beautifull memories are made of.
We will be returning in April 2007 -Sharm is Beautiful.
Me and my partner dressed up as Cleopatra and Ramses on the beach and had our Photo's taken, which was a great laugh.
Cant wait to return we had a brilliant Holiday.

“hreat holiday....small buts !!!”

W e visited the hotel in September this year for 2 weeks, and what a time we had. The first night we arrived we were made sooooooooo welcome, the people there were great.
This is a small hotel, but the rooms were spotless, and this was due to the excellent maid we had, in fact no one had any complaints about the rooms, there are a few channels on the tv that you can watch films etc,,, if you are tired that is....
the pool is small but it has the pool bar ..and this is were many friends are made, we found that the small pool area made everyone welcome and people mix due to this.
We loved our stay here, and it is only a short taxi ride to Namma Bay if you want the high life, as the entertainment is not so good.
Sharks bay is also a great day out, the coral is lovely, the beach at the hotel is nice but the water is not as clear.
The only buts that we had was the food......no it is not that great, very repeatative, and at times was cold. If you ask for anything like burgers and chips for the kids then this will cost you about £1.50, but a small chips is free. The salad area is good but the main hot dishes was really not that good.
To eat out is very cheap but that is not what you play A/L for.
To crown the whole holiday off, we meet some wonderfull people and we have all arranged to meet up again....In Egypt...

P.S. ITS ROASTING ...TAKE PLENTY SUN BLOCK...
ENJOY IS WELL WORTH THE TRIP.

“Perfect for a short Red Sea Break”

Partner Turquoise Beach

A week in the hotel was an absolute pleasure. Staff were polite and freindly, hotel was clean and has everything you need for a short holiday. Beach is clean, and a short walk around the headland produced the best snorkling I have ever done. Food was good, but the selection was a little similar most days, but then its nice to get out for a meal once or twice. Some of the other guests did winge a bit, but for a cheap all inclusive hotel, you get what you pay for. If you want 5* then pay for 5*. If you are happy with 3* then this is the place for you. We have no complaints, and will be returning again next year for two weeks!!

    • Disliked — Eating in the same restaurant all the time, but not because it was bad, just because it was the same one and I needed a change.
    • Tips/Secrets: — Camel bar/ restaurant in Naama bay, best english food on a rooftop bar with panoramic views over the bustling Naama bay.
