third time lucky on visit to sharm el-sheikh, this hotel was first class from start to finish. located next to the namma bay centre it is 5mins walk to the centre only steps are down from the hotel (but their is a lift) no taxi's needed and no busy roads to cross.
the hotel only has sixty rooms, we stayed b/b thou you can upgrade on arrival or as we did just pay for a meal on the night £11each (buffet style) very good selection of meat, seafood, pizza and pasta as well as salads etc. very good value.
we spent the fortnight on the roof with the heated pool (at times it was like going in the bath) sunbeds easy to find with shades what you will find is the wind, but this is welcome when weather hitting 26/27 in late feb/early march. the lads around the pool are top notch nothing is a bother the paper seller will sell you papers (a couple of days old) internet is expensive (£4) much cheaper in the centre 50 pence for 30 mins) all rooms have mini bars only £1 can of pop but shop across the road 30pence you can still use the fridge to place the mini bar contents to one side.
the rooms are cleaned every day with fresh towels, the towel art is fantistic from the swans to the flowers all staff first class.
nammi bay has some great resturants kanabesh, pommodoe at the camel bar, but best of all dannuers up the steps next to drinkes shop first class food at very good prices seabass with prawns £4.50 (english price) lamb chunk (leg of lamb) £5.
as for drinks the camel bar, tavern bar for all english football, pacha nightclub hard rock cafe and bus stop bar. couple of bars on the sea front happy hours next to the movenpick.
better rate on your money over in Eygpt ,also now sell english cigarettes in the duty free (airport) £12 english pounds for 200
