My friend and myself stayed at Novotel Palm in May 2008 B&B and found it to be everything we could have hoped for and more!

We originally booked for Novotel Beach which we specifically chose as we wanted to be by the beach but were told before hand we were allocated to the palm hotel which we were annoyed about but on arrival we were blown away by the hotel and with the beach being so close anyway it made no difference at all the hotel is stunning, immaculately clean and the staff are all lovely (even the gardeners say hello). The rooms are very spacious, have all amenities you would expect and are finished to a very high standard (I loved the huge walk in showers and super king-size bed)!

We spoke to a couple who were staying at Novotel Beach who'd actually asked to be moved to the Palm as they found there room at the beach cramped and noisy in the evening with the hotel evening entertainment.

The main road you have to cross is quite busy but is not as bad as other reviews have made out and there are patrol men with flashing beacons from dawn ‘til 11pm to help anyone across. You can’t hear any road noise at all from the front of the hotel let alone in the hotel so please don't let the road put you off! The other side of the road is the Novotel Beach and the Beach and promenade into Sharm, We tried pretty much all the restaurants along the front and found all of them to be great (however wine is expensive) The staf mde every effort to make us feel special and I've travelled quite alot but this holiday will be hard to beat!

This is a fantastic hotel and if I were going back to Egypt I would definitely book to stay again and have recommended it to all my friends!

Just came back from a great weeks holiday at the Novotel Beach hotel. Perfect weather, and we couldn't even spot a single cloud during our whole stay!
The hotel is located right by the beach - not even 50 meters. They also have a Palm area hotel which is a bit further up on the mountain side and you have to cross a very busy road to get to the beach. It is important to be aware that these are two different hotels and when we ordered our trip we thought they could have made this much more clear - so we did ask for a confirmation from the hotel that we really were booked in at the Beach hotel. Just to avoid no misunderstandings. All things worked smoothly though.

The room was quite spacious - and the air condition worked really well, and didn't make too much noise either. Beds were very comfortable to sleep in.

We absolutely LOVED the breakfast buffet which has a wide variety of things to choice from. They serve it between 0630-1030. They even make you your own scrampled egg or omelett to your liking. And located on the beach they have restaurant which was called Al Dente, and they have some really lovely, romantic and nice tables right on the beach - very lovely and they food was delicious!! Only shame about this, is that we didn't spot them before our trip almost was over, or else we probably would be eating there more.

The hotel also provides you with towels on the beach for the sun beds which was great. They also have waiter's from the hotel restaurant that walks by you on the beach, and you can order some beers and also food. Even can get a bucket (wine cooler) with ice to help you mineral water stay cool in the hot sun. Nice!

Also recommend the Mexican bar in Naama bay (close to Little Buddha bar), which had some really nice food that was a bargain. We didn't expect to shop so much or go on some exursions either since we only were staying for a week. But we went on the Blue Hole trip to Dahab and the Quad Bike trip in the Sinai desert - the latter we enjoyed the most. We booked it at the Sun'n'Fun at the beach. They said there though that it would be 2 hours, and we expected it to be two hours from we got picked up close to the hotel and till we got back, but it took us 3 hours and 15 minutes till we got back to our hotel. Not that we complained though, since we both had so much fun.

We will definetely like to come back to Sharm El Sheikh, and when we do, we will definetely be staying at Novotel Beach.

I've been to Sharm before, several times, yet i should describe this trip as amazing. Staying in an extremely nice hotel like Novotel Sharm Palm made it a total different experience.

The hotel rooms are big, clean with a greenery/pool view. Staff is so helpful and friendly (each one of them is smiling, helpful; the reception guy, the housekeeping, the waiters, the pool and beach team, the animation team)

You have the beach and 5 swimming pools to enjoy where activities are available.
Location is perfect, in Naemaa bay, you're near everything!

I recommend Novotel Sharm Palm.

Lovely location, right on the beach. Easy to walk into Sharm at night, just a lovely 5 minute wander. Breakfast great, loads of choice and we almost always managed to get a table outside. Drinks are pricey at the hotel but local supermarkets stock beers and wine and you can keep it in the fridge in your room. Enjoy your stay, whatever you choose.
