I Stayed at this hotel for a week begining on 3rd June 2008, This was a Thomas Cook Hoilday all inclusive (Ultra).
The hotel is excellent and so too is the food, it was very clean and very well organised, some other hotels I have stayed in should take an example from this one.
Everyybody from when you walk through the door to leaving are exceptional, kind and friendly, nothing is any trouble.
The food is excellent wherever you eat and there are several restaurants and themed evenings, with outside barbecues and events.
Staff here really do put a lot into the presentation resulting in first class quality, all the time.
All the facilities listed are very good, rooms are big, I stayed in room 6118 on the ground floor, all the rooms are, air conditioned and this worked very well as the temperature rose to above 110 degrees F in the day.
There is a nice jetty you can walk onto which is accessed from this hotel, it takes you out where you can see various tropical fish in the sea, don't go back to you room without visiting the beach bar, the waiters here are excellent with a good sence of humour, as you will find !! ...Go in the day and there's a camel ride in this area, a case of meeting "Humpfree" for a ride after a couple of beers.

All in all an excellent hotel with a sister hotel next door equally as big which you have access to by showing a card.

Highly recommended, would go again, if you travel here by Thomas Cook you may have a tour rep called Sarah, she is excellent gives good information when it comes to excursions, etc, she kept us very well informed and communicated by written and verbal form and really gave great care to the group all the time. and was always available at the times stated if needed.

After reading some previous comments on this Hotel I wonder what some people expect for a good standard Hotel in Egypt !!
Perhaps the "Paris Hilton" ?
The Garden Beach is excellent, a good welcome by the friendly reception staff, well organised luggage transfer by the bell boys, lovely clean and modern rooms kept spotless by house boy and well tended grounds.
ALL the staff are friendly and pleasant and the restaurant is good, there are five places to eat and numerous bars where you can be served NAMED drinks all inclusive at ALL HOURS except between 0600 and 1000. Self serve coffee and tea always on hand as are snacks. Towels are supplied for beach and pool and can be changed each day.
Entertainment is usually "in house" but none the less is quite good. Lots of choices on the food menu means that some of what you see you will not want but we always found plenty to please our palet.
On arrival your room safe is free of charge and the fridge is stocked with water and soft drinks, the water is replenished each day.
Being British we have no concerns about who populates the Hotel and had no problem with the largely Russian contingent, in fact being in the company of such diverse nationalities helps to make a foriegn holiday. We cannot praise this Hotel enough, have a nice time, but beware IT IS HOT !!!!!!

we stayed at the hotel sunrise garden beach in hurghada eygpt for one week in april this year 2008, and it was so good that when we got home we booked again for next year for two weeks. the staff were fantastic and made you feel very welcome from the start.the rooms were large and had a safe and a fridge. they were very clean and comfortable. we can not wait to go back.
