The place is not flashy but we stayed in December and the price was excellent, the room was clean and comfortable, and the people at the desk were friendly and helpful. The location was also great... right on the boardwalk. If you are on a budget and don't want to pay for a room in one of the pricey casino hotels, this was a reasonably priced, nice, comfortable place to stay. We also had a very good breakfast the next morning at the restaurant attached to the hotel.

If you are looking for a clean hotel room, great location next to the Tropicana, Great Price, This is the place.

We had a partial ocean view which was supposed to be an upgrade, due to the weather the ocean was nothing to look at.

The walls are thin. There was a family next to us who was extremely loud in the hallway and kept slamming their door.

The thing that irriated me most.......I had a do not disturb sign on the door, because I was very tired and did not want maid service. Yet the made had the guts to call me and said "I notice you have a do not distburb sign on your door" "do you want maid service"! That irriated me......do not disturb meens do not disturb.

I would recommend this hotel if you do not plan on staying in it to long. The value is exceptional if you just need a place to sleep. Thats if you can and don't have loud people in the hallways.

I stayed in this hotel from December 7th thru 10th. This was a nice hotel, very clean, the staff was very nice and helpful. I had an oceanview room. The bed was big and comfortable. The food in the restaurant was reasonably priced and good. It was also a great price for the weekend.
The only problem I had with this hotel was the paper thin walls. I had the pleasure of staying next to drunken party animals who were up all night laughing, talking loud, also sounded like they were throwing furniture. I started to call the front desk, but things quieted down and I was finally able to get some sleep. I understand this is suppose to be a fun town but its bad how people do not have consideration for others.
But all in all, I would stay here again if I were to ever go back.

I booked a room with Days Inn after reading stellar reviews here. Following are pros and cons.

Pros:
- The location was excellent - on the boardwalk, close to the beach.
- My room was quite nice. It had half an oceanview. I specifically asked for a room away from Tropicana, and there was just one room with a King bed non-smoking away from Tropicana for standard price.

Cons:
- The bed was HORRIBLE!! It was the most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept in. I felt as if I was sleeping on a spring, and the pillows were bad too. I had a hard time sleeping, and woke up with body aches, especially in my neck and shoulder.

The two most important factors for me are cleanliness and comfortable bed, and this hotel failed in the latter. I will never go back there. I had booked a better room for the second night (oceanview), but decided to stick with the lower priced room because there is no point paying more for the same uncomfortable bed. It is a shame because the hotel is nice and clean and in a good location. I wish they did something about those damn beds.
