My wife and I stayed there on Feb. 21 through 23 and absolutely loved it. The price was affordable compared to the other high price hotels in the area. it is in walking distance to all the casinos, plus there is a bus that stops right by the hotel.

The staff is very friendly. I had a nice conversation with Mr. P.K. (I believe he is the manager). We talked about how the hotel is under new management and how they have updated the hotel. Everything in the room appeared to be new to me. I believe he said the hotel is around 60 years old.

I would highly recommend staying there and saving your money for going out to the casinos and dinner. Breakfast is free at the hotel so stay in, come down to pick up breakfast and go back to your room. Or if you like, have breakfast at the front counter and talk with the friendly staff.

First of all, we did not have reservations, however the manager that greeted us was very pleasant, friendly and helpful in providing what we needed for our stay in Atlantic City. He quoted us a price then showed us the choice of 2 rooms to meet our needs. We found the rooms to be neat and clean. The bed was a king size and quite comfortable. The bathroom was also clean and well stocked. The manager had fresh, hot coffee, bagels and cream cheese, cheese danishes and muffins available each morning at 8:00 a.m. The coffee was very, very good and the other food was very fresh. It was just what we needed first thing in the morning without having to get ourselves together and leave in our vehicle to go somewhere to get coffee and/or breakfast. That was quite enjoyable. The manager was also helpful with whatever we asked of him, i.e., directions, places to dine, etc. throughout out stay. We will more than likely stay there during our next visit to Atlantic City - as long as it is under the same management as on this visit.

Before I praise the Ascot Motel in Atlantic City I 'd like to emphasize
that I have no shares in it. I have been going there for years and
enjoy it very much.The rooms have all the comfort you can
expect and you get excellent value for money if that's what
matters to you, especially mid week , Sunday through Thursday>
A year ago or so the management changed and things improved
a lot, electronic doorlocks, fridges etc.
Again:Unbeatable value for money.

I would rather sleep outside than stay here.
If it was FREE I wouldn't even stay here. I paid for a night but it got to the point where my 3 year old son and I had to go sleep in the car because this place is a total health hazard!!!!!!!!!!! $60 night weedays.

1) Blood smeered on wall in shower
2) Mold/Mildew on wall,tub,shower curtin in bathroom.
3) Red paintchips? (hopefully) in the bed.
4) MOIST CARPET
5) Filthy couch in room, stains all over it.
6) Foul smell.
7) Broken lamps
8) Structural problems...looks like the place will colapse at any second.
9)Pool closed by the board of health.
10) Rude manager!
11)Extreme rust on stairs, painted over then rused again etc..
12)Broken ice machine
13) Ancient air condition system, rusted, maked loud noises.
