I hate to give a nice hotel a rating like this. My husband and I went to the Trump Marina in Atlantic City, NJ for his birthday. It's been a while since we've gotten away especially since we have a 1 year old. I made the reservation about 1 month in advance. We asked for a smoking room/king size bed (my husband is 6 foot 2). When we reached the desk we found out that there were no smoking rooms available. Now my husband and i both smoke and it was just so inconvenient to have to keep going all the way downstairs from the 15th floor just to have a smoke. They claimed that they only had 5 smoking rooms available and that rooms went on a first come first serve basis. Mean while i arrived 10 min after 4 pm, which is check in time at this hotel. Overall, my husband and I had a great time. Everyone was very nice, except for the guy from the front desk who picked up my call for the complaint on having my room changed. I even had a bday cake delivered to our room and the guy who brought it up was so nice and friendly.
Point blank i'm complaining because i like to get what i ask for and even though this is minute it still upset me. I know those who smoke would agree. We couldn't just relax in our room, which is really the main reason why we were out there.

Stayed at Trump Marina the beginning of December for my company Christmas party and it had its good and bad points. The hotel did a great job catering our party and the table minimums on a Saturday night weren’t horrible. Drink service was a bit slow at the tables and that could be a downer at times.

I arrived about an hour before check-in and I thought the check-in clerk was a bit distracted, bordering on rude, but nonetheless she checked me in fairly quickly so I can’t complain too much. When I got up to my room it wasn’t quite ready as it still needed to be vacuumed. It wasn’t a big deal as I only had to wait a couple of minutes.

The room was fairly modern in appearance and had a great view of the bay. The bathroom was tiny and could be an issue if more than one person is staying in the room. A nice touch was the mini-fridge in the room. Like many hotel rooms nowadays, it came equipped with an iron and ironing board. Unfortunately a previous hotel patron chose to toss them into the closet rather than stowing them away properly. Regrettably the cleaning lady didn’t pick them up either so I’m unsure as to how long they had been this way.

I ordered room service in the morning and even though they warned me my wait for breakfast may take as long as 45 minutes it arrived in about 20 piping hot. It really gave me the energy I needed to get up and out of the hotel.

A couple of things did bother me, (1) the distance to the boardwalk – I know there are many ways to get to it (jitney, taxi, etc.), but there’s no denying the fact it’s nice to walk out the door of the hotel/casino onto the boardwalk and go for a stroll. (2) Mold around the windows. This was unacceptable for a room that cost $100/night let along a room that cost me $200/night – Donald, stop hyping your books and TV shows and clean around your windows!

All and all it wasn’t a horrible experience, although, I doubt I’d stay there again as I prefer the location of the boardwalk.

was there for 2 nites, 12/25 & 12/26. priced much better than the other casino hotels. very enjoyable time. room was large and overlooked inlet and ocean. only gripe was that there was mold or mildew on the shower tile grout. very unusual for a 5 star facility. food was good. parking was free with a trump 1 card. will go back there again.

Had a Compted room at the Marina for one nite.Arrived for check-in early and had no problem.Mentioned to Lady at desk we were celebrating our Birthdays,She didn't even blink and eye and said I will put you in a Junior Suite.Well let me tell you what a Suprise when we opened that door.Huge Four Poster bed greets you with Down Comforter,step down to Large Living Room,Beautiful New furinture,Two Plazma TV's and Two huge windows with the Best views of the Bay and the Boardwalk you will Ever get in A/C.Always enjoyed the Trump before but even more so now.
Stopped at Harrahs and had a Great meal at The Steakhouse(Prime Rib).

Best places to go Borgata&Hilton.Service is Great at Borgata on the Slot Floor.
