From the moment we arrived we were very impressed, the hotel is beautifully designed, with really great rooms (the ability to turn the television round to watch it in the bath located in the centre of the room was definitely a novelty). The staff were extremely helpful - and the buffet breakfast amazing. We also had dinner in the Sports Bar which was extremely good value. Location wise, the hotel isn't the most central - however, the taxis are so cheap we didn't feel it mattered. Once all the building work (which you are not aware of once inside) has been completed around the hotel, it will be a 5* hotel with prices to match, so take advantage now.

Rooms are clean, staff is very kind, breakfast and bufet may be improved.

We stayed two nights (wished it had been a bit more!) in this gorgeous hotel and it was a delight. The staff were superb in all senses: warm, professional and ready to help at any point. We had our 4 year daughter with us and they were very attentive with her and her needs. Breakfast buffet is fabulous. It is true that it is not so close to the center, but Dubai is pretty spread out, so perhaps it's good to stay one/two nights in Deira and then move out to this hotel. There is a free shuttle service to the beach and to two of the most important malls (Ibn Batuta and Emirates) if you are planning to do some shopping, which is what one does in Dubai (not much more to do after you've seen museums/Gold souk and the like) don't hesitate to enjoy this little jewel of hotel.

hFirstly get the construction out of the way, leaving SZR at exit 51 and taking the construction road toward the Burj Dubai, through roads with new builds either side. Not your cup of tea? Ignor it as it is worth the wait.
Greeted with a cool drink and frozen hand towel upon registration just comenced what was an idillic week. The reception is peaceful and cool, with staff who are pleasant and appear very genuine. The room was Ab Fab. A bath took centre stage so take your bubble bath and loofa. Views of the Burj Dubai that are second to none.
The pool is quiet and although there is a great deal of construction in the area, it was not intrusive.
Buffet breakfast is well worth the 70 or so dhs and the evening buffet was excellent the nights that we used it.
Booked through hotels.com the hotel was more than affordable, however, this will not last. Once the srea is completed, the tarrif will be at least four times what I paid, so get in while you can.
I cannot praise the staff or this hotel enough. Look beyond the construction and go get a unique view of the emerging Burj Dubai.
