Stayed there over Christmas 2007 and found the whole experience excellent. Was in a 3 bedroom appartment (for family of 5). It was huge. All the 3 bed appartments are above the 25th floor (we were on 29th). We had a sea view. Room service available from the cafe on the ground floor - no alcohol. But food service very quick. You can have breakfast in the cafe as well. And amazingly it is not a rip off given the captive audience. Pick up a menu from the cafe and take it back to your room for ease of ordering. Eating out is also easy as you can walk to 10 restaurants within 5 mins (including the 5 star Shangri-La where they do an excellent fixed price buffet meal).
Room (maid) service good. It is really an appartment block with some communal facilities but really didn't miss the facilities of a true 4/5* hotel. No big lobby to stroll around in etc but then we were out most of the time. Excellent valet parking set up if you have a car with you. Everything very new and very modern (style). Kitchen equipment a bit basic - really geared towards eating pre cooked food rather than cooking for your self. But good sized fridge and freezer. No noise issue on the 29th floor! Pool/sauna good but not exceptional (and outside of course). Small business centre if you need Internet access (you can buy it for 30 mins if you want). Ethernet in the room if you have a laptop with you.
