I stayed at the Oasis Beach for 2 weeks in June and have to say how impressed I was.

As its the only 4 star hotel on Jumeriah Beach I was a little unsure what to expect - It turns out I had nothing to worry about!

The hotel was more than OK. The rooms were slightly dated but perfectly comftable. I had a landview room and it was fine. Not noisey and the views were nice.

The resturants are all well presented and offer a good choice of foods. I would advise a half board option though as if I had to pay for the meals every night I would have spent a small fortune! On average a 3 course meal for 2 worked out at around £150-£200!

The pool and pool bar were basic but large and there was always a sunbed free. The only days it got partically busy was a Friday and Saturday when the locals are allowed to use the pool. Still, there was always somewhere for guests to lie.

The beach area was lovely, and the lifeguard on duty was a nice touch. It looked slightly crowded most of the time as there are LOADS of sunbeds along the beach - they were mainly free though.

The staff there were all friendly and willing to help. The service they provided was 5 star easily!

All in all I had a great time and would definately recomend it as a cheaper option than the 5 star places in the same area. I got the same service as a 5 star hotel for a fraction of the cost! Its such a shame they are pulling it down in a few months to make way for another 5 star. The Oasis Beach was a great choice.

Excellent views from hotel to the beach and pool below, great pool with bar in it, several restaurants and bars within complex 2 min walk from beach... great hotel (make sure when you book as for a room with a sea view otherwise you will be looking onto the rear which is just buildings....

Myself and 2 friends have just returned from 4 nights at this hotel and loved every second of it, I have absolutely nothing to complain about whatsoever. Rooms were clean, with lots of room even for 3 people sharing, pool was fantastic, especially with the swim up bar. Private beach with more sunbeds than you will ever need, so no problems with not being able to get one, even in half term. You dont need to have any doubts about staying at this hotel you wont be disapointed! We are very sad that it is going to be knocked down and replaced, if it wasnt I would be back there like a shot!

For the price we paid and the type of room we stayed in (the most expensive in the hotel) we should have been treated like royalty but we were not.

Room was lovely, amazing views, it's a shame they are knocking the hotel down but compared to the surrounding hotels the Oasis beach needs a little updating.

Food in all restaurants was fantastic but it would have been nice if when we checked in we were advised that you had to book a table if you wanted to eat in them. We didn't get a table until 21.30 on our first night.

Beach, gardens and pool area were very clean although were too busy for my enjoyment.

It would be a much nicer place to stay if the guests from the towers did not use the hotel facilities!
