My family of seven stayed two nights in three rooms without a good night's sleep because of the significant street noise from buses and trucks. The hotel is extremely close to the bus station on a heavily trafficked street for truckers, and the sounds of honking and hydraulic breaks pumping made a good night's sleep impossible for us.
In addition, the receptionist was the worst I've ever encountered. She didn't know where anything was and didn't care to help find out. She answered the front door slowly when we would come (always locked for security) and seemed to resent our disturbing her. She is the complete opposite of everyone we dealt with in Guatemala.
On the good side, the rooms were fine and furnished well. The hotel was always kept clean and the view from the roof was lovely. We all liked the fact that the hotel supports a wonderful charity. However, we would never stay there again since the most important thing about a hotel is the ability to get a good night's sleep.
