“A Beautiful Getaway”

Annapolis Royal Folly

5 of 5 stars
Hagerstown, MD
Oct 24, 2007

What a beautiful home! My husband and I stayed in the Royal Folly for our 9th anniversary in Lord Dana's Suite. We didn't want to leave! The furnishings were beautiful and the hospitality unbeatable. Our bed was so comfortable that I had to peek under the covers to see what maker the mattress came from.
Breakfast was delicious! Grilled pineapple as a first course, DESSERT for breakfast!!! And a stuffed croissant a l'orange as the main course. Pat is a fantastic cook! The Folly is within walking distance of everything, we parked the car and didn't move it until we left town. We had a wonderful anniversary at the Annapolis Royal Folly.

“Greatness in Annapolis!”

We celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary in Annapolis, MD. A town that was new to the both us we reasearched many options and found the Royal Folly B&B.
This B&B was so wonderful, I ended up sending the thier web page link to over 50 family and friends. Ed and Pat Mullen are outstanding hosts and the most outgoing, welcoming people we have ever crossed pathes with in our travels. The breakfast is just enough, plated service with champagne brunch on Sunday and crab souffle that is just out of this world. We plan on returning and may make it an annual visit the stay was so terrific. If you go to Annapolis, MD, make the right decision and stay at the Royal Folly B&B.

My fiancé and I stayed at the Royal Folly for the weekend of our wedding and we loved it!! Pat and Ed (the owners) made our wedding weekend that much more enjoyable--they are a lot of fun, the breakfasts were amazing, and the place is absolutely beautiful. We will definitely be back!

“Romantic get-away in a historic town”

Annapolis Royal Folly

My wife and I had a wonderful and romantic stay at the Royal Folly celebrating our second anniversary. Room was spacious, the bed like a dream and we enjoyed a private entrance to the patio. There was also complementary Port wine that was also a great touch! The location is ideal for really seeing and experiencing Annapolis. All the sites; Naval Academy, shops and restaurants are within walking distance and the owners Pat and Ed provide generous hospitality. Oh, and can't forget Samson the cute little dog! We'll definately return again and provide referals to friends and family.

Very enjoyable three-day stay at this impressive Bed & Breakfast. Location was great, out of the high traffic area but extremely convenient to everything in the city. Parked the car on Thursday and did not use it again until we departed on Friday. Room was beautiful, comfortable, and a good value. Breakfasts were multicourse, haute cuisine, and delicious. Hospitality of the hosts was incredible: Very responsive to any and all requests and exceeding our expectations at every turn. Other guests were repeat visitors and we now understand why. Felt more like staying with family than in any hotel we have ever experienced. Will definitely stay there again!
