Amazing Hotel, spent 4 days and 3 nights in Cusco and this hotel was just amazing, the rooms were always clean and the breakfast was always stocked with food. The staff at the front counter was very nice and spoke great English, and even put up with the groups Spanish. I would return any time i visit Peru

We stayed in this hotel the night before and the night after our 4 day Inca trail. We only had a day to acclimatise before our trip so when we arrived at the hotel I asked for a nice quiet room so we could get some sleep! They certainly obliged and gave us their 'best room'. This is room number 301 - it is spacious with a king sized bed and little lounge area. It was whisper quiet. When we got back this room wasn't available and we had a room on the other side of the hotel which was pretty noisy from the traffic passing by outside (although we hadn't realised you could actually close the window shutters and substantially reduce the noise!!!). Great staff - very helpful, Coca tea always available in lobby, short walk to attractions, very nice breakfast - try the French toast!!

We really like the Casa Andina Koricancha hotel - the location is very good, only 5-10 minutes walk (depending on how well you are acclimatized to the height of Cusco ;-) to the Plaza de Armas, and seemed safe to us even in the evening.

We had a ground-level room facing into an inner courtyard, thus the room was very quiet. The decor was very colorful ("Andean style"), but it was very tasty and not kitschy, we liked it. The size of the room was quite spacious, but it lacked a wardrobe so there was not really a place to put your clothes... The heater in the room was very welcome since it got cold at night. The bathroom with shower was perfectly ok. The bed was large and comfortable. One minor issue about the room was that it was not very light, even during daytime when we had the lights (which were in fact rather dim) switched on.

The whole style of the hotel is very nice, decorations seem chosen with thought and placed with care, and the two courtyards are pretty and very relaxing for soaking up a bit warmth from the Andean sun.

Breakfast was great, the buffet has lots of cold and warm food to offer, and we appreciated the free mate tea which is available all day.

The staff was friendly and helpful, too.

Even though the "Casa Andina Catedral" is slightly closer to the main square than "Casa Andina Koricancha" I preferred the Koricancha (I stayed at three of the Casa Andina's in Cusco). For the price you get a very clean hotel with a friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast is great although its the same every day. There's always fresh Coca leaf tea at the front.
