Smallish but comfortable bedroom. Wireless internet available (though over-priced). Charming and helpful staff.

One of the hotels in the city centre near Ochard road. We had to pay about 100 euro a day for the room, but the value of the room is not worth the money. The rooms were not clean, the boy at the check-in was very unfriendly and the equipment in the room was very outdated (including the not functioning a/c).

We where very pleased that the hotel's swimming pool was closed, this provided us a good reason to look for another hotel near Singapore. We found one on Sentosa Island which was the same price and a real winner!

Checked into this hotel for one night with my girlfriend and my best friend late last year. Cost of room is $150 each. All four of us were so disappointed with the whole experience.

Bad points: The television were old and there were no cable channels available. Both of rooms were different. Mine had a bath tub, while my friend's home is only a shower head. The rooms also differs in sizes. Not sure how they allocate the rooms, though we feel that the prices should differ for the two rooms.
Hotel staff were not really friendly to us, maybe is because we were locals and not foreigners. They feel that there wasn't a need to treat us as guests.

Good points: Big comfortable bed for couples. Good location near town. Average breakfast, but friendly cook to whip up a nice scrambled eggs on request. Nice swmming pool located at the middle floors. Overall decor of room, nice classic feel to it.

Overall the experience is not worth the $150 per night. Definitely with the money, you can get a better hotel at other places.

Bencoolen St is situated within 10~15 minutes walk to Orchard Rd.

I stayed in a twin sharing room on the 7th floor. The room was quite large, enough for couple and wth a well equipped bathroom.It is clean and quiet too.

Staffs are friendly enough except for the front receptionist (female).
Overall is good if you are travelling on a budget.
