We stayed here on a group tour of China. I don't usually stay in places this fancy when I travel on my own, so this place was quite a treat. The room was spacious and beautiful, and fully outfitted with a kitchenette.
At first I wondered if I would like the location, because it's in the Mong Kok district, which is more central Kowloon and seems like a long way from downtown. However, the location turned out to be perfect. The bird and flower markets were only a block away. The other markets were easily within walking distance. A little further afoot is Kowloon Park, which is a really beautiful park and wonderful place to take a break and enjoy the outdoors and public art. This hotel also has easy access to the metro system and a local train service.
Attached to this hotel is a very modern shopping mall, and close-by within the mall is a coffee shop with free internet access with purchase. The hotel has only two computers in their business center, and according to the front desk only one of them is for English speakers, so unless you know Chinese or bring your own computer, you may have to wait a while.
The breakfast buffet was huge with an abundance of eastern and western foods appropriate for breakfast or brunch. This was by far the best breakfast of the whole trip.
This was also the only hotel of our whole trip that had an exchange desk that would give cash on a credit card or bank card (all the others would exchange only cash for cash), so it was really nice *not* to have to find an ATM. (Our guide highly recommended using only cash in the markets, so having cash was important.)
