This was a good hotel, Location was good, and it was reasonably priced. We stayed on the 10th floor having been upgraded. The room was big ,clean and had adequate facilities.
The ongoing renovation work only seemed to go on between about 10-5 during the day so it wasn't a problem if you spent most of the day out exploring. Overall a good hotel. I would go back.

My China company's hotel of choice is the Park Hotel when in HK.

Between Nov. 2006 through Nov. 2007, the hotel has still been under construction. For my first and second stays, I stayed on the 5th floor. The room was noisy due to the construction, the water pressure was weak compared to other hotels in the area, The channel selection on the TV left much to be desired, and the bed consisted of base sheet and comforter as well as pillows that had seen better days. The dinner buffet leaves much to be desired, go out to one of the many restaurants in walking distance to find a better & cheaper meal. The charge for internet access was out of line compared to some hotels which give you free hi-speed access.

After complaining about both stays to hotel management, I was upgraded to a suite on the 14th floor free of charge. What a difference! The floors are quiet, the beds are actually well made with actualy comfy beds by Western standards, flat screen TV was in the room. Everything was better except the internet charges and bad water pressure.

At least know the secret next time to booking at the Park, don't except a room near the construction floors if you don't want odd smells in your room and noise.

We stayed there for three nights in Nov and they upgraded us to the junior suites for the three rooms which was great of them. Location is
excellent except u dont have the luxury of stopping right in front of the lobby. We had like 8 luggages and 3 kids and we had to walked thru' the busy tiny lane to get to the hotel and likewise when we checked out.

Hotel room is sparkling new EXCEPT the toilet. Not sure why they stinged on the water so the flushing system is not up to standard for the 3 rooms we had. Sometimes it is even yellow water........pretty put off by that. Hope they improve on this, else everything is perfect.

My husband and I stayed in this hotel for 4 nights. We chose this hotel because it is recently renovated. We took Airport Express to the city and then transferred their free shuttle bus to the hotel. In the information, one of the stops of the shuttle bus is Park Hotel. Disappointedly, we found that the bus could not stop in front of the hotel and we need to carry our clumsy suit-cases and walk for 5 mins to the hotel. The hotel is located in a very busy street and also, lots of construction works is carrying-out on the street next to the hotel, everywhere is noisy and dusty. The frontage of the hotel is very small and no car is allowed to stop in front of the hotel. When I stepped in the hotel and disappointed again, that the renovation was still not yet completed. Not only that, the staff at the front desk is not so friendly and helpful, and gave us a very small corner room at the dead-end of the corridor. On the floor plan, we noted that it was the smallest room on the floor. At that moment, I regret to choose this hotel. After approached to the front-desk again, they let us have another room with larger size. We started to settle down and tried to enjoy our stay in this hotel.

In HK standard, this room is considered as spacious, everything is new and modern. There are lots of storage space for our luggage and all the lighting, video, audio and air-conditioning are controlled on one panel at the bedside. Honestly, it is comfortable staying in the room and we happy with everything from that moment onwards.

When I compare this hotel with the one (Harbour Plaza Metroplolis Hotel) which I booked for another 4 nights, we found this hotel is better money-value, especially when all the renovation is completed.
