The Metropark Causeway Bay Hotel is an excellent place to stay for business or leisure. The propery is in an excellent location, close to the shopping district and a rather large park (for Hong Kong). From your room, you have a sweeping view of Hong Kong Island to your left and ahead, and a panoramic view of the harbor. The rooftop pool also provides for an excellent vantage point to those areas, as well as the hills and buildings behind the property. The workout facility on the top floor is also above-average. Service is above-average for the city, and the building is immaculately clean. The hotel bar is a nice place to wind down after a long day. It is not a luxury or boutique hotel, but it is an excellent value for the money. My only real criticism is the size of the room, which I found to be small pursuant to European and Asian standards (extremely small compared to American equivalents). Perhaps I'm too sensitive to the size of the room given my own dimensions (6'5), but these reviews are designed for the subjective as opposed to the objective. If I could rate the property a four and a half, I would do it. Since I don't have that option on Tripadvisor, the small room, specifically the small bed, brought it down to a four. There are other, better hotels with larger rooms on Hong Kong Island, but you will pay extra. All in all this is a great hotel and worth the price of admission.

Stayed from the 30th april to the 7th of may 2008, I booked this hotel based on the reviews posted on tripadvisor, and I wasn't disappointed. The hotel room I stayed was a harbour view room on th 17th floor, which had a nice view, & was quite clean. But the room size was quite small. Other then that I can't fault the service in the hotel, the staff were friendly & helpful, and the buffet breakfast was great, from a full english breakfast to a continental breakfast.
The hotel even has swimming pool, jacuzzi and small gym on the roof. And the views are great. If you want to book tours there's a tour operating company on the second floor, and also internet facilties.
The hotel is well situated, within 5mins from tin hau MTR station and tram stop. Theres even a bar, and 7 to 11 store near to the hotel. Causeway bay, times square (which is the next stop from tin hau station) is the place to shop for top designer brands and goods, and there many places to eat as well.

We stayed on the executive floor - large comfortable space with a good view. A good breakfast. A nice pool and health club on the roof. Attentive service. Will return!

I arrived April 1, (leaving) May 10 for business - thank goodness I decided on Metropark Causeway Bay. I booked a Panorama Executive Suite - the room is very large, clean and bright with comfortable furniture and fully equipped. The view is spectacular and the extras included are worth the upgrade. I have a huge bowl of fresh fruit delivered each Monday, daily paper at my door, pm turndown service replacing any used towels, free breakfast offered from either the restaurant or the private Panorama lounge, which then offers free cocktails and snacks from 5:30 to 7:30 daily and free broadband (from all rooms). The Panorama staff is there for your every whim; the staff throughout actually. Maintenance is great and the room is always spotless, others are always around the hotel polishing, staff will deliver almost anything you require within minutes. The concierge area offers free daily shuttle service that drops guests at the Convention Centre in Wanchai several times in the morning from where you can continue to your destination very conveniently. There are two pm pick-ups from this same location. The pool / gym area has the best view in town of the harbour and Victoria Park.

Location - MTR (the underground, Metro, subway, whatever you call it, you will not have seen a more spotless, efficient system in North America or Europe) is a 5 minute walk. The tram is always fun but make sure it's not after a day of shopping - very narrow. Taxis, first 2 kms only 16$hkd. And though it is located in an area that houses local small businesses and residences, it is an ideal location because it is not rowdy with tourists when you are winding down from your day - having stayed in Wanchai area last year, the difference is day and night!

Being in HK for 6 weeks for biz would have been difficult were it not for this hotel and the staff (past 10-day stay at another establishment was disappointing). I am able to have a solid workout at the gym, eat fresh fruit and oatmeal at breakfast, get to work comfortably on a shuttle which I take home after work almost regularly, wind down in a quiet lounge during happy hour, and log in to continue working in the pm as I watch the harbour light show every night at 8pm from the comfort of my spacious room.
