My second stay in Honghong with my wife, after several change of hotel reservations with my travel agent I finally decided to book in BP International. I decided in this hotel because of the Good Review from Trip Advisor. All I can say is, I agree to most of the comments and rating on this hotel. The hotel lobby was impressive, its like one of the top malls here in Manila where floors and ceilings are shinny ideal for the guests. The front desk officer was accomodating and rooms was just right for Asians like us. Our checking in and out was smoothly carried over. the location was very ideal for tourists, Its just walking in a park going to the shopping centers and transport system. Very nice hotel and very ideal on location and great value. I would definitely recommend and be back here again. Cheers to BP international!

This hotel has a great location overlooking Kowloon Park where you can watch the Tai Chi both morning and evening.
The hotel has beautiful reception areas and helpful staff. The rooms are OK but unfortunately the 4 beds in our 2 rooms were all rock hard which was a great shame.
It is very clean and cleaning (even of corridor walls) seems to be every day.
The park is fabulous to walk through to get to everything and safe even at night as it has security patrols and I felt safe even walking through alone at around 11pm.

Tips -Taxis are incredibly cheap, and you need to develop selective deafness as you will be asked if you 'want tailor?', 'want watch?' etc every few yards

For the traveller who would prefer to get out of their hotel room and explore a city, the BP International is a perfect choice. The price is incredibly good value, the rooms are clean and well-appointed and the location is fantastic. Instead of breakfast at the hotel, there was a great bakery up on the corner of Nathan Road. A croissant and a coffee on the go was all we needed.

We loved the BP as more of our money was spent out and about eating, drinking, shopping, etc. It was a clean, safe place to sleep and re-fuel. It is also close to Nathan Road and all its shops, and the Temple Street area is great for inexpensive street food.

Tip: Hunt around online for better prices than booking directly with the hotel. I saved 50% by doing that.

This is a solid 3-star hotel with what should be considered bargain rates (given the location and the quality of room). We stayed in a harbour-parkview room, which had a surprisingly great view of the harbour and Hong Kong skyline with a direct wide-open view of the 2IFC (the tallest building in Hong Kong) and the rest of Central, although a couple of buildings did partially obstruct the view. I do believe we got extremetly lucky with the view, and I don't think that every harbour-parkview room would have the Hong Kong view comparable to ours.

This is definitely a 3-star, not 4-star. The room is tiny and the bed was nothing more than just basic. The hallway was gloomy and the lobby was also rather basic and no-frills, with cramped check-in counter. But the check-in was very quick and smooth, and we had no complaints with the service here. And the important positive was that everything inside the room was pretty clean although basic. I especially thought the bathroom was spotlessly clean; very small but well-designed with a nice new sink and a powerful shower.

The location is decent, though not the best. It's on the north side of Kowloon Park, and the closest metro (subway) stop is Jordan only about 5minutes away. If you were to walk to the main part of Harbour City shopping mall, the Star Ferry, and the harbourfront area of Tsim Sha Tsui, it would take a good 15-20 minutes. The area right near the hotel isn't all that interesting, although it is very close to Temple Street Night Market. I will say that Kowloon Park that the hotel sits right next to is very pleasant, with an aviary, well-groomed gardens and a flamingo pond all within the grounds. A stroll through this park is a nice way to get to Tsim Sha Tsui from the hotel.

I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who's budget-conscious but would still like to stay in a nice clean hotel with a decent Kowloon location and a possibility for a nice harbour view from the room.
